J.C. Cellars

What a nice tasting room! I thought their wines were nice and balanced. The $5 tasting fee was certainly worth it. I am a big proponent of urban wineries and am thrilled that JC Cellars has set up shop in Oakland. If you visit in be sure to try Dasche's wines also!

Kindred Wines

Kindred Wines is a new kind of winery; one without walls, vineyards, or dogs to greet you. We strive to source the best possible grapes, combine down and dirty hard work with 2.0 technology, and share the results with passionate consumers.

Stubbs Vineyard

Tom and Mary Stubbs fell in love with West Marin long before they planted their first vines. The fog-shrouded vales just inland from Tomales Bay on their 600 acres are quite similar in climate to that of some major grape-growing areas nearby: Napa's Carneros region, the Sonoma Coast, and the Anderson Valley of Mendocino County.

Marin Wines

Natural winegrowing for us means producing the finest quality wines while working in harmony with nature and protecting the health of the earth and its people. As a CCOF - Certified Organic winery, we encourage environmentally friendly practices at many stages, from conserving soils and water, managing pests and using a natural approach in winemaking

Skylark Wine Company

Skylark Wine Company is a collaboration between Boulevard Restaurant Wine Directors John Lancaster and Robert Perkins. Both have years of experience in the Wine Industry. I wanted to taste this wine strictly because it was an interesting blend of 47% Carignane - 47% Syrah and 6% Grenache. Carignane has a long history in the state of California and add a texture layer to this wine. The wine has heavy heavy earth and spice notes. I couldn't quite put my finger on them all. The confusing part is a good thing because it made me keep coming back for a new sip to figure out the components. This wine would definitely benefit with food

Eno Wines

Eno Wines is a boutique winery producing small batches of Pinot Noir, old vine Zinfandel, Grenache, and Syrah from world class and undiscovered vineyards. Eno Wines award-winning labels and evocative names express the unique qualities of each wine. Enjoy!

Kendric Vineyards

Kendric Johnson was my Dad and is the person for whom this enterprise was named. He died in 2001 just as we were getting started. Naming the company after him is meant to both honor his memory and to impose his high personal standards upon the undertaking.
