Bob Dog Winery

Just when you think that your car won't make it to the top of the mountain you are there. Tim and Candy (and Cabbie, the dog) are excellent hosts and make some beautiful wine. but the scenery is what tops it all--you are literally on top of the mountain.
Plan on spending 1.5 hours on a tasting...don't rush, just relax and you will have a great time.

Bonneau Wines

In 1921 August and Catherine Bonneau purchased 70 acres of land in Schellville, about 8 miles south of the town of Sonoma, California. This was a very remote area at the time, requiring a full day's travel time from San Francisco. This area reminded the Bonneaus of the Bordeaux region of France near the area where they were born. This little boutique winery is serving up some way above average wine and atmosphere!! The Bonneau Wine Room is located in the Carneros Deli (you know that great little gourmet deli on the corners of 116 & 121 by the 76 station on your way out to Infinion Raceway??)

Brogan Cellars

What a neat little Wine. Reminds me very much of a simple beautiful Burgundy from France.

This is a wine project by Margaret Wierenga who's father owns Williams Selyem wines. I have heard they make a pretty good pinot themselves.

The wine has beautiful aromas of Cherries and Coca Cola. On the palate comes strawberry jam with hints of clove. The wine has a beautiful lingering finish.

Bucklin Old Hill Ranch

The Bucklin's were all born and raised in San Francisco, but spent virtually every weekend and summer on their Grandmother's ranch in Sonoma. In 1976, their mother Anne, a professional landscape gardener, moved to Sonoma when she married Otto Teller. Otto and Anne lived together on Oak Hill Farm where they raised organic flowers and vegetables. In 1981, the Tellers purchased the venerable Old Hill Ranch Vineyard which is adjacent to the farm. Meanwhile, the four Bucklin siblings set off on separate paths across the country pursuing various careers, spouses, and hobgoblins, only to return to the family farm in Sonoma.

Bybee Vineyards & Habitat

Exclusively Pinot Noir, Bybee Vineyards wines are handcrafted from 100% certified organic grapes, estate grown in the heart of the Green Valley sub-appellation of the Russian River Valley AVA. Cold nights, cool morning fogs, riparian habitat, and sandy-loam Goldridge soils yield some of California’s best pinot noir grapes.

Caddis Wines

Although Caddis is new it is quickly becoming one of my favorite wineries in Livermore. The winemaker Chris has had years if experience in the Livermore Valley and it shows in his wines. It's no surprise the Caddis took home a number of Chronicle wine awards, their wines is phenomenal! Caddis is located next to Wood Family and are only open a select amount of days throughout the year. Just a quick update. Caddis Wines now has two locations, in Livermore and Sonoma.

California Cider Company

The California Cider Company is owned by Geoffrey House, the man credited with initiating the national cider renaissance. Utilizing his insider's view of the cider industry, he took more than two years to develop the Ace Cider. House, owner of the second largest specialty beer and cider marketing company in the US.

Calstar Cellars

A life-long interest in fine food and artisan craft led, Proprietor and Winemaker, Rick Davis to the wine industry. With graduate work in soil sciences and his first experience as a cellar-hand for Rivendell Winery, a small winery in New Paltz, NY, he quickly learned the trade and excelled to Winemaker. In order to pursue this newfound passion, his move to Sonoma County, CA left him in the perfect place to master winemaking and focus on Pinot Noir.
