Canihan Wines

The 2007 San Francisco International Wine Competition had 47 judges tasting 4,300 wines. After three days of sipping and spitting, the awards for Best Syrah/Shiraz, and Best of Show Red Wine, went to the 2004 Canihan syrah "Exuberance." It was the first commercial release of Bill Canihan's life, and his was judged the best red wine in the entire competition, which encompassed a galaxy of wines from all over the world.

Canyon Road Winery

Canyon Road Winery owns 140 acres of vineyards. The majority of the grapes for its wines are sourced from coastal appellations and selected Northern California vineyards. The California appellation is part of the key to the brand's success, since it allows winemakers to roam prime California sources for just the juice they want.

Carol Shelton Wines

The only wine of Carol's we have enjoyed is her Wild Thing Zin. “Wild Thing” is named for its attitude and uninoculated or “wild” yeast ferment is used to create it. Black raspberry fruit, vibrant and alive in both the nose and mouth, nice oaky-smokiness, hit of black pepper. Smoothly textured in mouth, the finish is long and lushly jammy fruit—dangerously good! Looking forward to visiting and trying her other wines soon.

Castle Vineyards

Castle Vineyards & Winery was acquired in 2006 by John and Kathleen Sweazey, who combine years of passionate wine interest and experience with their success in small business enterprises. In pursuit of a new wine business venture, production of Castle wines has ceased so that the Sweazey’s may carry out their dream and focus on their new winery, Anaba. Anaba Wines has a similar focus on Rhone and Burgundian varietals and a continuing commitment to high quality wines and grape sources.

Chandelle Winery

Family owned winery founded in 1986. Small production award wining wines. Parent Company is Chandelle of Sonoma, Inc. Located in Sonoma, California. Robert Arnold is the President and owner of the Company.

Chandelle also bottles small release wines under it's Estraié label.

Charles Creek Vineyard

A nice selection of wines for the tasting, the usual suspects from whites to reds, I think it was $5 for the tasting but free with a purchase so if you have someone in your group buying more than one bottle they will be cool enough to cut the tasting costs. The people that work there were really good about the wines and the pours as well.

Chasseur Wines

Chasseur wines are highly allocated and sold primarily through a mailing list. The two appellation Pinot Noirs are produced in larger quantities and are available in the fine wine retail market throughout the United States.
