Mead (all varieties) was excellent and you will love hearing about the great care that goes into this amazing little operation. The owners are excellent, personable hosts and love pouring mead and sharing their stories about the business and their lives. Never expected this in Hunters (street parking only) - it's definitely worth it! SF Mead uses local honey, fruit and spices to craft high quality mead.  Oron and Sara’s meads range from dry to sweet.  Honey has a unique character that expresses the character of the region in a new an exciting way. The tour was very comprehensive and informative. You are able to taste the raw honey that Oron uses to make the mead as well as tasting the mead in various stages. A favorite was the blackberry that was not ready for bottling. We wish Oron and Sarah continued success so that they can keep pumping out delicious meads.

In downtown Calistoga this tasting room was very charming and inviting. The manager and tasting guide, Brandon, were very helpful and welcoming, we really felt at home. Great ambiance, exquisite Sempre Vive wines, cheese and charcuterie. Romeo Vineyards produces elegant awines from vines forty-two years old which reside south of a nine acre reservoir in Calistoga, California. The vineyard lies sandwiched between two forested knolls, leading to the geographical conditions that create hot days and cool nights and an extremely long hang time in our Calistoga vineyard. This allows their grapes to develop full flavors, deep color and intense complexity.

Stop by this charming boutique off the beaten path in downtown Napa for a wonderfully personalized experience! The wines are delicious, the atmosphere is casual but trendy, and they have a great partnership with the Michelin rated restaurant next door- you can skip the line there and have a plate delivered right to the tasting room! Definitely worth a visit.

Charles R Vineyard is one of Livermore Valley's big wine secrets - well maybe that's not true with the number of reviews I have found. Charles R is a great little find, here's why: Great wines at decent prices: The Sauvignon Blanc that they just made is light, crisp and delicious and their cabs which are good too. Service with a smile: It doesn't matter how many people are packed into this little tasting room, they always have the nicest people helping visitors and who simply love to chat about wine. The Charles R Experience: From the sitting on their patio nibbling on food you brought while savoring a glass of their wine to tasting in their tasting room, the overall experience is so "laid-back Livermore".

Good wines, friendly owners, fun animals. A field full of alpacas greets you as you enter Oso Libre. The husband and wife owners were absolute gems, but let's face it, unfriendly people simply don't own alpacas. They shared a lot of interesting info about the winery and animals which made for an entertaining conversation. The wines were tasty and the term “wine farm” setting of Oso Libre is a great experience.

"Bodies in the sand, tropical drink melting in your hand We'll be falling in love to the rhythm of a steel drum band Down in Kokomo... That's where you want to go to get away from it all, down in Kokomo" Actually, this winery doesn't have anything to do with The Beach Boys and their song, but this winery. definitely does have good wines. Actually, Kokomo pays homage to the winemaker's (Erik Miller) origins, Kokomo, Indiana. Kokomo Winery consistently win awards for their wines, most notably their rose.

Amazing little winery with great wines. The 2010 Merlot Grand Reserve was like anything I have had before and I don't even like Merlot usually. The wine jams are also out of this world. Try the petit Verdot jam, you won't be disappointed. Wonderful place with amazing wines. This wine is made with passion that comes through. Try the Pinot Noir...yes, Pinot in Lodi...really well done. This is a hidden gem that won't be hidden for long. You won't be disappointed! Open Friday - Sunday- or by appointment

This winery feels like home. Gracing the driveway is a pond overlooking the beautiful vineyards; you would not know you were close to the highway when you are here. Entering the winery there is a pretty vast selection of tastings on the menu. We did not taste one that we did not like and it made deciding on just a few bottles so hard! This tasting room was beautiful and I truly could have stayed all day here .. and night ! There is a Crush Pad on site! A lovely little cottage sits a top the hill on the vineyard and has four rooms for guests!
