Adler Fels Winery is nestled 1,500 feet above Sonoma Valley in the picturesque Mayacamas Mountains in Northern California. The mountaintop location commands a panoramic view of the Valley of the Moon and beyond to California’s dramatic coastline. The winery features state-of-the-art fermentation tanks and storage for 700 wine barrels. Adler Fels also operates a modern wine production and bottling facility in Santa Rosa, California. Unfortunately, Adler Fels facilities are not open to the public. Trade and press visits may be made by appointment.
One of the most difficult aspects of the tasting is to identify how long a wine should be aged. Here, experience and personal liking will determine when to open a bottle. The flavors and texture, or the feel in the mouth persist a couple of minutes after drinking. This is a strong indicator that the wine has a good aging potential.
