The idea for 3 Steves was born over 3 friends sitting around having a glass of wine and talking about starting our own winery. We all owned part of a small boutique winery where we learned the art, science, and the busines of the wine industry. We made lots of wine together, and our customers gave us some nice feedback on our wines. Before long we realized we wanted our own label from the ground up, and thought it was obvious to name our new project the 3 Steves Winery.
A wine attains its ideal maturity when all of its components are balanced and offers a great aromatic complexity, not only on the nose but also resting on the palate with a persistence.
This doesn´t mean that a matured wine is necessarily an aged wine. No, rather a matured wine at its perfect drinking peak. Actually, it maybe the case in some wines that they should be consumed when young and fresh.
