Moondance Cellars

Great winery conveniently located next to a chocolate shop. Moondance offers wine and port tasting for $5 apiece. In addition to wine, they also have mustard, olive oil, and balsamic samples for you to try. They are in a mutually beneficial relationship with their chocolate selling neighbors. They offer chocolate samples as a pairing with their wines.

Vineyard of Pasterick

This is a very small, private winery. The Pastericks are super friendly and will share the history of the property and their wine with you. They grow all of their own grapes and only produce one type of wine, Syrah, which is pretty tasty. Tasting is $10. They basically just pour you a glass of wine to drink while you walk around and tour the grounds.

Sheldon Wines

Tobe and Dylan put their heart and soul into every bottle. If you're a wine novice, just ask Tobe and she'll steer you straight! As you take the first taste, you'll start to unwind in the Sippy Lounge! If you're a wine geek - I'm totally sure that Dylan will find something of his to knock your sox off with!
If you're visiting the Sonoma County wine country - this is a MUST visit!

Paint Horse Winery

The Greens have been into paint horses for nearly three decades and the winery is their homage to these wonderful and truly beautiful animals. According to Bruce Green, the couple rides their horses on every occasion, both in western pleasure and also trail riding. Paint Horse Winery became a reality in 1997, when the Greens first purchased the property. Some vineyards were already planted, but needed a great deal of work. The Greens improved the existing vineyards and planted two more acres, mostly to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Chateau Felice

It truly was love at first sight when Barry and Phyllis Rodgers drove through the gate off Chalk Hill Road. The property captivated their imaginations. That June day in 1997, Chateau Felice was conceived.
Over the following months, the Rodgers family set to work on the overgrown, unkempt cattle ranch. By 1998, the land was ready for planting 20,000 vines on 25 acres.
New structures were built, and winemaking facilities and equipment were installed in preparation for the first crush of estate grapes in 2001.

Forth Vineyards

We found them in the Sonoma Wineries listing and saw that tasting was by appointment only..we didn't know that it was out of date and that there was an official tasting room...anyway, we made the appt and got lost trying to get there. We happened to see a man doing some work in a barn/garage and asked his help to find the winery. He told us we found it. Turns out the winery was in the barn, he was the winemaker, and the tasting was done on the porch.

Talk about a beautiful setting to taste wine. The hills, the vineyards, the babydoll sheep...yes, sheep. Forth uses babydoll sheep instead of herbicides. Very environmentally friendly.

Montemaggiore

Montemaggiore is a gorgeous, intimate, private wine experience tucked away on top of a hill in overlooking Dry Creek. It's incredible the amount of labor and care they put into making sure they are employing environmentally friendly, sustainable and organic wine-making practices.

Super Sonoman Wine

The diverse geology of Sonoma County and its topography have made it the ideal location to make world class wine for years but the grapes that are most often associated with the region have been Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Zinfandel to name a few. Super Sonoman Wine brings you another choice.

Duchamp Estate Winery

Duchamp Estate Winery is a winery located in Healdsburg, California. The winery is owned by Pat Lenz. The wine at Duchamp Estate Winery is produced by Gary Galleron.
Duchamp Estate Winery produces the following wine varietals: Syrah/Shiraz. The price of wine tasting is a fee waived with purchase.

Merry Edwards

The tasting experience was very informative. And a little formal. The host takes you into their tasting room and closes the doors for total immersion. The tasting is really all about the wine and educating visitors of the history of the label. Great stop for very classy wine! Not so much for relaxing and lounging.
