Fritz Winery

Built into the side of a picturesque hill atop the famed Dry Creek Valley, the Fritz Winery creates award-winning, small production wines with a respect for the vineyards, and the traditions of artisan, hand-crafted wine making.
Jay Fritz's vision for a winery grounded in responsible stewardship is what has allowed the quality of the natural bounty of our 120+ Estate to thrive over the past thirty years.

Emeritus Vineyards

This may be the best Pinot Noir you've tasted! It's wonderful to drink alone or with food. I particularly like fish but I still drink Emeritus Pinot Noir with fish dishes and it's wonderful. It's not available in retail stores, just in restaurants and directly from the winery.

Hughes Family Vineyards

Keith and Cherie Hughes pursued a shared vision in 2001 with the purchase of two organic vineyards in Glen Ellen, California. Initially, their intention was to grow exceptional fruit, a goal that evolved into making superb wines that reflect the unique terroir of their land. Hughes Family Vineyards is a boutique winery producing premium Zinfandel, Syrah, Rose' and Chardonnay wines made exclusively from the grapes grown in our certified organic vineyards in Glen Ellen, California.

Hawkes Winery

The atmosphere of the tasting room is simple but modern. You can tell that they put their real energy into the wines. It's a nice stop with the Jimtown Store right next door where you can pick up a tasty sandwich and sit out back looking over the vineyards. When it comes to the people and service, you really get a feel that this is a family run operation. Stephen Hawkes the owner/farmer/winemaker is there every year at the barrel tasting to share the experience and crafted love that goes into these amazing red wines.

Olsen Ogden Wines

Tim Olson has been a winemaker in Northern California for more than 21 years. For six years Olson served as winemaker for Tarius Wines in Santa Rosa, CA. With a focus on vineyard designated Pinot Noirs and Zinfandels, Tarius Vineyards produced 1500 cases a year and was distributed in 12 states and three foreign markets. Olson's wines have garnered numerous awards including "Best of Show" at the California State Fair and numerous gold medals in other competitions.
Tasting Room - open 11 am to 5 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday and by appointment Monday through Thursday

Bartholomew Park Winery

The staff here was very friendly and inviting, I felt comfortable asking any and all questions I had. Would definitely recommend this, especially for a lunchtime stop so you can picnic. They even had some picnic type food items for sale. Bartholomew has an excellent hike, approximately 3 miles, which provides an excellent workout. Parts of the trail are challenging for novice hikers, with very steep ascents and descents, even a few stream crossings on rocks. It's a fun hike with an excellent vista view, and maybe you will see some wildlife.

Homefire Cellars

Small boutique wine producer making seductive bottles of delicious Zinfandel.Definitely tasty and no need to be hasty when savoring each sip. Well-balanced, berry-blessed with a smooth caramel finish makes this winemaker's Zinfandel the perfect pairing whether with spicy cuisine or a savory dungeness crab cook-in.

Loxton Cellars

The property is small and nothing fancy but more likely than not, your wine tasting will be led by the vintner himself, who came to Sonoma with nothing and built this small winery with his own hands. He's a great host who truly understands and loves wine. It's a delightful experience and the wine is priced very reasonably compared to many other wineries in the area.
