Boitano Family Wines is operated by four generations of family. The Boitano family started growing Sangiovese grapes in their Mokelumne Hill vineyard in 1999. The six generation mother lode family comes together annually to prune in early spring and harvest in fall.
Andrew and Laurel Quady left crowded southern California and their jobs in pyrotechnics and merchandising to pursue their dream: a non-urban way of life making wine. Andrew graduated with a Masters in Food Science-Enology from UC Davis and Laurel became a licensed CPA. In 1975, at the urging of friend Darrell Corti, they made their first port from Amador County Zinfandel in Lodi. Quady Winey is located in the Central Valley of California in Madera along the Madera Wine Trail. Joining the team in 1984 as winemaker Michael Blaylock to manage the growth in the winemaking operations that Essensia Orange Muscat and Elysium Black Muscat Dessert Wines. Trotter 1/16 Winery has some great wines that are very limited. Meet owner and winemaker Stephanie Trotter Zachari. Stephanie's inagural wine release are something to stand up and take notice of even though they were limited to just 36 rows. Trotter 1/16 Winery just earned Double-Golds and earned some bragging rights for her Flying J's and Oak Canon Caberbet Sauvigons both 2016's. Each of the wines earned (93pts and 98pts) respectively. Tony and Kimberly Kirk established Birdstone Winery with the goal of producing world-class wines from Madera-appellation grapes. A friends and family effort from the start, Birdstone’s winemaking team includes Tony, Kimberly and their sons Travis & Conner. It’s not uncommon to find Tony & Kim’s siblings, parents or friends behind the bar in the Tasting Room or helping to crush grapes during harvest.
In San Miguel, California Lusso Della Terra, which name means "Luxury of the Land" makes its goal to live up to the name by drawing on the passion and love for both the land and the wine it produces. Winemaker Edward Cholakian starting from cellar rat, worked his way up the production later over time. His experience at well-know wineries such as Cakebread Cellars, Chateau St Jean, Monterey Wine Company, Fetzer Vineyards as well as serving as consultant for 30 other winereis has shaped Edward in creating his own style and winemakeing and shows in the wines of Lusso Della Terra.

Spiriterra Winery was sold after the death of Paul Dean (Novomber 2019)
Spiriterra produces two wines from their Muscadine grapes – an almost dry wine and a sweet dessert wine. The sweet wine is called “Scuppernong”, which is a name for a Muscadine varietal that originally was found growing wild in part of North Carolina. Eventually this name has become another name for Muscadine grapes – and is associated with sweet wines from this varietal in the South East part of the United States. Their 2011 Cabernet took a Gold Medal.
BADEN is Doug Margerum's dream to make the ultimate ezperssion of grapes that are grown in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. Winemakers Dough Margerum and Michael Miroballi produce Pinot Noir, Vin Gris of Pinot Noir, white blend called onte, with more varietals yet to come.
