UPDATE NOTICE
Following the liquidation of Martin & Weyrich assets no public mention was made of the fate of the historic York Mountain Winery. Sources in Paso Robles alerted redwinebuzz.com that Epoch Wines was considering purchasing historic York Mountain Winery, previously owned by Martin & Weyrich.
A source inside Epoch confirmed recently that the sale was closed on Friday July 16th. The sale price and details of the transaction were not disclosed. The source did say that an Epoch Estate Wines tasting room will be opened at York Mountain within 2-3 months. Epoch plans to renovate the historic structures and construct a new winery complex.
