Cuvée Wine Cellars

Friendly faces at Cuvée Wine Cellars

Cuvée Wine Cellars - A great little urban winery that began with a passionate home winemaker intent on producing quality wines. After a run of successes in amateur- winemaking contests Paul Rogerville decided to tackle the daunting task of becoming a bonded winery.  Yes, Paul took a great hobby and turned it into a job. The good news is you can tell is that Paul loves what he is doing and when you visit you can tell. The staff is so friendly and we have enjoyed a number of visits with Paul. Often there are delicious appetizers or food and plenty of wine and we haven't had a bad bottle yet. This place is definitely worth a visit. Cuvée Wine Cellars is located on the Central Peninsula, which does not permit them to grow their own grapes. However, this has not proved too much of an obstacle by any means as Paul has partnered with some of the most outstanding vineyards in Northern California. Paul can be seen in a short video presentation made during our visit to the 3rd Annual Mid-Peninsula Summer Wine Walk. ~

Hill Family Estate

Completely unique wine tasting experience. You can hang out on leather couches or sit at your own dining table. Super chill, great music, and across the board I found the wines really good.
Jean was our super smart and gracious host. The nicest in Napa.

Great place to stop in for a chill tasting and pick up something special for lunch or dinner.

Paul Hobbs Winery

Top notch experience with top notch wine. Lauren was our host for the day and started by taking us into a big room with a fully set table. The wine snob that I am appreciated that we were each given multiple glasses that were appropriate for the wine were were tasting - Chardonnay, Pinot & Cab. It makes such a difference and that should have been the first clue to the experience we were about to have.

Barton Family Estate

Painting by Agata Zaborowski

The Barton Family Estate is the only site on the 46 West corridor in Paso Robles that offers Wine, Food, and Spirits all in one location. What more could you ask for when looking for a genuine Paso Robles tasting experience like no other.

Today, Barton and his wife Jenny run the family business as a husband and wife-team. Joe’s mom, Shirlene, is also an integral part of the day-to-day operations still and they are a completely owned and operated family business to this day. Together they have modernized their family brand and added a beautiful urban farmhouse tasting room to the property. They added Barton’s Kitchen in 2013, offering farm-to-table, casual cuisine, and in 2022, Grain+Vine Craft Distillery was born.

Lenora Winery

Lenora Winery made its debut in the wine world in 1999 with its first vintage carefully harvested from its own 5 acre vineyard. Ramona's climate is ideal for growing winegrapes. Lenora Winery's vineyard contains eight varietals and is blessed with daily gentle breezes which keep vines healthy and fruitful. Clear skies, warm days and cool nights work magic on the grapes as they grow to harvest.

Jack Creek Cellars

In 1997 began the pursuit of a dream; it started with 75 acres on Jack Creek Road in Templeton, CA. Before the first vine was planted Jack Creek Cellars made the commitment to farm the finest fruit possible, even if it meant a longer period of time before the vineyard became financially viable. The first priority with the fruit produced from the vineyard has always been excellence, believing strongly that without remarkable fruit you cannot make a world-class wine.

Wolff Vineyards

This vineyard is such a little gem! They are located on top of a hill so the view is gorgeous, and they have an adorable patio area. The servers are extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and attentive, even when the counter is packed full. I appreciated the hospitality. Great view from the patio, a nice place to bring some snacks and enjoy a tasting. A couple nice well behaved dogs hang out with you while you are enjoying your tasting. The Old Vine Chardonnay, Red Wolff, Syrah and Petite Syrah were all good. Many of the wines are particularly good with a cheddar based cracker so bring some!

Tasting fee is $8 waived per bottle purchased ($10 for groups of 8 or more). All wines under $30 per bottle (regular price). Sammie the dog is gorgeous and well behaved! Brixie is the old English Lab - they used to have a "Brixie's red" that was a really nice table wine - I believe this is now the Red Wolff.

Amapola Creek Vinyards & Winery

The Amapola Creek story began in 2001 when Richard and Alis Arrowood discovered a very special place on the western slope of the Mayacamas Mountains—those magnificent mountains that rise between and separate the Sonoma and Napa valleys. From the first moment we set foot on the 100-acre ranch that the Arrowoods now call home. It was almost as if we had known and loved the place in anoter lifetime. There is, in fact, a deep connection to the past here. The red-brown volcanic soils reveal the mountain’s fiery history, and traces remain of the old stagecoach road that once ran through the property. Stone walls still stand where Chinese immigrants built them more than a century ago.

Cupcake Vineyards

These tasty little wines were introduced nationally in 2008 from California’s Central Coast and represented a finely crafted, fruit-forward, indulgent and eminently approachable style of wine. The inaugural release included Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Since then, Adam has used his experience and relationships around the world to add seven international wines to the lineup. http://underdogwinemerchants.com/
