Calcareous Vineyards

Let the Soil Speak ! The one thing that makes for the creation of uniqueness amongst wines is the exact place the vines reside. The oneness of soil, water, sun and ai in each vineyard creates wines as individual as snowflakes.

Frick Winery

Bill Frick and Judith Gannon started this winery in 1976 with the proceeds from the sale of their 1957 Chevrolet. In the small, cool winery, hidden away on a back road, Bill Frick hand crafts complex, rare wines that reflect the true character of the grape.

Bucklin Old Hill Ranch

The Bucklin's were all born and raised in San Francisco, but spent virtually every weekend and summer on their Grandmother's ranch in Sonoma. In 1976, their mother Anne, a professional landscape gardener, moved to Sonoma when she married Otto Teller. Otto and Anne lived together on Oak Hill Farm where they raised organic flowers and vegetables. In 1981, the Tellers purchased the venerable Old Hill Ranch Vineyard which is adjacent to the farm. Meanwhile, the four Bucklin siblings set off on separate paths across the country pursuing various careers, spouses, and hobgoblins, only to return to the family farm in Sonoma.

Stehleon Vineyards

Stehleon Vineyards wines are San Diego grown and produced. Owned by Al and Lisa Stehly, their grove and vineyard management company cares for the vines which produced these first vintages. Small, custom vineyards have been hand pruned and the fruit hand harvested. The making of the wine has become a family affair with daughter Alysha Stehly, producing and bottling the wine in Escondido in northern San Diego County. Having recently planted their own vineyard of Rhone varietals, the Stehlys hope to eventually expand their offerings of wine that always pair well with friends

Duffo Winery

Nestled on the Northeast border of the Temecula Valley sits Doffo Winery. Founded in 1997 by Marcelo Doffo, it is one of a few micro-boutique wineries in the region and the only one built around the former site of a Temecula historic landmark schoolhouse. Situated on 15 acres of rolling vineyards, the winery possesses a unique combination of old world and warm family charm. It is also home to MotoDoffo, the family's private collection of over 100 racing and vintage motorcycles.

Myrtle Creek Vineyards

Myrtle Creek Vineyards is new winery that is just breaking into the San Diego wine industry. We hope to be open for on-line sales in early 2015 and have begun the process of establishing a tasting room at our Fallbrook location. We are a family run winery that specializes in small batches of hand crafted wines. At this time all our wines come from our Fallbrook vineyard or the other vineyards that we lease in the Fallbrook and Bonsall area. Varieties include Syrah, Grenache, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. We had our first small harvest in 2013 and hope to release some of those wines very soon!
