The winery: Service was great. Wine tasting was nice, definitely do that. Lots to choose from and the chips are really good. The wines were nice as well. We took the tour which was pretty cool. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. He took us on a tour of the winery, told us a little about the surrounding area and the process how the wine is made.
We ate at the kitchen first which was absolutely delicious. I never ever thought I would eat some tomato bisque. Yummy. Then walked next door to the tasting room and used our 2 for 1 coupons and started tasting. Donna was a very good host and was able to be attentive to everyone. She was Explaining what all wines were that we drank. And also offered some suggestions. Nice. The winery is very nice which have a kitchen next door. They have adequate amout of parking.
What an absolutely delightful place. Small, charming, off the beaten path. This offered a robust tasting (6 wines for $15) and a wonderful venue. When we arrived Cathy went into the vineyards and picked some Sangiovese grapes to go with a cheese plate she prepared for us. It was such a gorgeous setting. And through out our lunch she just kept coming back to pour us more wine! She was extremely generous with her pours.

Great place to taste a lot of boutique wines. Friendly knowledgable staff. Great spot to taste a broad variety of wines from a number of wineries and winemakers! It's a custom crush facility, so a whole array of wines are represented and the tasting menu changes regularly. Pahlmeyer, Blackbird, Ghost Block and more are poured here. It's rather like Ma(i)sonry in Yountville, but without the art. Michael Pozzan's wines are always tasty and very affordable. Rob Lawson's Pavi wines and Fisticuffs also offer high quality at a very reasonable price. Definitely worth a stop to get some variety.
Laguna Canyon Winery is currently featuring three brands that are available in their two tasting rooms and 15 states throughout the United States. Their main premium brand 'Laguna Canyon', 'Purple Paws' and Wyland Cellars. A portion of all Purple Paws wine sales go the care of homless pets. Marine artist 'Wyland' embellishes the Wyland Cellars brand and a portion of the sales go to the Wyland Foundation which supports clean rivers, oceans, the environment and the protection of sea life. Our founder John Krause has made several visits to Laguna Canyon Winery when he would commute between San Diego and Orange County. Williams Seylem is an institution. The original cult pinot negociant in America. For pinotfiles this place is a mecca. Since then it has changed hands (and by that I mean about a decade ago). The juice is still superb, sourced from the best vineyards in the area, and service wonderful. Though you've got to be on the mailing list to visit.
