Red Table Wines

Marietta Cellars

Marietta Cellars is located just outside the little town of Geyserville in one of California’s premier wine growing regions, Sonoma County. Owner and winemaker Chris Bilbro initially founded Marietta Cellars in 1978 in a rented cow barn in the Dry Creek Valley. The winery is named after Chris’ great aunt.

Mt. Vernon Winery

Mt. Vernon Winery is one of the most unique wineries you will find in the Sierra foothills. Founders Jim & Lynda Taylor and winemaker Ryan Taylor own the largest and most award winning winery in Placer County with a variety of hand-crafted wines for you to enjoy! The tasting room is a beautifully restored old 1950s milk house with elegant gardens that over look the lush vineyards.

Cellar 205

Oreana Winery is known for two things - great wines and fabulous parties. From small batches of Pinot Noir abd sizeable Red Table Wine, Oreana has a wine for everyone. Cellar 205, now Oreana Winery.

Paraduxx

Indoor offers couches and casual seating throughout their modern wood paneled tasting room. Ourdoor tastings allow you to lay back on a chaise lounge and enjoy the sun and bask over the vineyards. A truly great tasting experience that is relaxed, cozy, tasty, fun, informative, and for a reasonable price. Paraduxx is the 2nd Tier (of 4) winery brand from Duckhorn with others being Decoy and Goldeneye. These are blend wines so while tasty are not yet appreciated by serious wine enthusiasts though this is changing.
They do table service a little differently than most, which I enjoyed. They bring out your entire flight of tastings at the same time and give you information on each wine. I like a little more privacy to decide if I like the wine without feeling pressure.
Our sommelier was really energetic and passionate about the wine - loved his interest in us and the wine.

Benjamin Silver Wine

Who would have guessed that a kid from Amherst, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences (Pre-Veterinary) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian from the University of Massachusetts, would end up in Santa Barbara County as an up-and-coming winemaker? Benjamin Silver did just that after catching the wine bug in 1993 at a summer job at Chicama Vineyards on Martha’s Vineyard.

Ponte Winery

The winery: Service was great. Wine tasting was nice, definitely do that. Lots to choose from and the chips are really good. The wines were nice as well. We took the tour which was pretty cool. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. He took us on a tour of the winery, told us a little about the surrounding area and the process how the wine is made.

Verdad Wines

Verdad is devoted to making Spanish grape varietal wines that express true varietal character as well as the vineyard's terroir. The grapes are sourced from organic and biodynamic vineyards and are minimally processed in the cellar.

Rodrigue-Molyneaux Winery

At Rodrigue Molyneaux, they believe that the great wine must come from great grapes. Nancy & Garry Rodrigue see to it that their grapes recieve intensive monitoring of the watering and pruning techniques. These farming practices keeps the yield down to three tons or less per acre. Although the yield will be smaller, the grapes will be larger with more fruit flavor. This is the reason Rodrigue Molyneaux red wines are so robust with a fruit-driven complex flavor.
