Venge Vineyards

Call for a reservation!
Wonderful spot with terrific staff, and an intimate experience. Terrific wines!
Hard to beat sitting on the porch, watching the sun set over the Mayacamas mountains, sipping some Venge Bone Ash or Family Reserve!
The staff is extremely knowledgable and this is a great break from the average tasting room.

Viader Vineyards

two friends and wine by Artist Agata Zaborowski

If you're looking for a different experience than your typical Napa Valley tasting room, then I highly recommend that you take the trip to Viader. High above the Valley floor, Viader has some of the prettiest views around. They also have excellent wines. In addition to their highly regarded Cab blend, the winery makes a yummy Syrah and under another label, DARE, even does a termpranillo. The tasting is pricey, but the staff really tries to give you your money's worth. If you have time, ask to see the underground wine caves. Art provided by Agata Art Gallery

Villa Mt. Eden

Coming upon the Rutherford crossroad you'll see the fresh new face of a venerable name on the Trail. Founded in 1881, Villa Mt. Eden is one of the few producers from the early era in Napa Valley history that continues to make world class wines today.

Now located on Conn Creek, there is a stylish new tasting room and winery, where not so long ago bears, deer and raccoon came down from the mountain to quench their thirst .

In the days of the rancho, 'Mission' grape vines filled the vineyards, however, by the time Villa Mt. Eden produced it's first vintage, new viticultural specimens imported from Europe were providing winemakers with quality grapes showing nice varietal flavors.
Today, Winemaker Mike McGrath bases his success on the excellent quality of those grapes.

Vine Cliff Winery

Vine Cliff Winery was established in 1871, when 500 acres were carved out of the George Yount estate. One of the first bonded wineries in the United States, and the first in Napa to plant Bordeaux varietals on a commercial scale, Vine Cliff was one of the region’s most successful wineries through the end of the 19th Century. A series of natural problems drove the winery under in the early 20th Century, with the land remaining fallow until it was purchased by Nell Sweeney for her family in 1985. Now, under the leadership of Rob Sweeney, the family’s oldest son, Vine Cliff has regained its position as a leader in the production of superior Napa Valley wines.

Vineyard 29

Our 17,000 square foot facility was designed by Jon Lail, principal of Lail Design Group, LLC, to reflect the marriage of Chuck’s tech background, and Philippe’s Old World winemaking philosophy. Completed in 2002, the winery is built of stone materials and terraced with landscape plantings to fit beautifully within the natural landscape of the vineyards that surround it. The winery design is gravity flow in nature, increasing the quality of the wine produced and substantially reducing undesirable aeration by pumps and winemaking machinery.

Designed to make the least environmental impact, the facility generates its own electricity using microturbines. As a byproduct, this system “co-generates” all the winery’s hot and chilled water and cools the winery’s 13,000 square feet of caves.

Vineyard 7&8

This is a small, relatively new Spring Mountain winery producing an excellent Chardonnay and Cabernet. Get ready for breathtaking views, no crowds, and likely a private tour of the cave and wine making area.

Vinoce Vineyards

VINOCE IS A SMALL, FAMILY-OWNED WINERY owned by Brian and Lori Nuss. Over the last 31 years they have developed an intimate knowledge of growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc on the rugged, hillside slopes of Mount Veeder and are dedicated to creating wines that reflect the true expression of the Mount Veeder appellation.

THE MEANING OF VINOCE, pronounced (vin-o-chay):
It is a play on the Nuss Family name and Brian’s German-Italian heritage. Nuss means "nut" in German. Noce is "nut" in Italian. Intermingled with "vin" for wine, Vinoce means "wine nut."

Vinum Cellars

Vinum Cellars wines are poured daily at the tasting room of the Napa Wine Co. in the heart of Napa Valley, Oakville, at the same facility where they are produced and bottled. As a Custom Crush facility, Napa Wine Co.
The tasting room has been recently renovated and features many highly acclaimed wine brands in one tasting location. It is open daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Private Tastings are available by appointment.
