Eberle Winery

The staff were super friendly and I think the owner was hanging out outside drinking wine with his show dogs running around.

Modern vineyard that has literally everything! From Bocce Ball, Cave Tours, Private Tasting, and to holiday themed events, they have it all.

The cave tour and flight of wine was complimentary and exquisite. Their Cotes du Robles Blanc white honeysuckle and candied ginger, tingled delightfully as an opening for the palate. Their Red Barbera gold medal with tones of raspberry. Their Reserve estate Cabernet Sauvignon Cassis (black currant), was clean and smooth.

Echelon Vineyards

Today’s world is a complicated one. At Echelon Vineyards is working to make at least one part simpler – the wine you select. Celebrating a new look and a new selection of your favorite varietals, we are excited about our new Echelon California Series: Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Red Blend and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Edge Hill Vineyard Company

In 1996, Danny Villamin planted nine acres of grapevines in his backyard. Before he could see the fruits of his and his wife's labor, The Highway 58 Fire destroyed thousands of acres, including his new vineyard planted only months earlier. The fire destroyed everything but the house and his woodworking shop.

Danny and Nieves replanted the vines in soil that became richer from the embers. Since the fire, Eden Canyon Vineyards has produced small production, handcrafted wines, that have earned accolades, including “Best Value Wine 2006” by Master Sommelier Luis de Santos. It must have something to do with the fire, snow, and occasional earthquakes.

Edna Valley Vineyard

Delicious! I really enjoyed the tasting and found that there wasn't a "bad grape in the bunch"! Also the staff was awesome. The woman that we worked with was exceptional; personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and dare I say- passionate about the vino.

Also, they have a really neat little demonstration vineyard outside the tasting room where guests are invited to take a self-guided tour to see different varieties of grapes growing on different trellis styles. It was early spring when we were here- and I hope to return when the grape get bigger and when I can see the variation between them better as they are bearing fruit.

Figge Cellars

Started in 2004 by Peter Figge, the winery produces three varietals: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. For all Figge wines, Peter is both the vineyard manager and winemaker ensuring the wines are handcrafted. Case volumes vary from wine to wine and the total production for Figge Cellars hovers around 2500-3500 cases each season.

Foxen Vineyard

The Foxen Boys (aka Bill Wathen and Dick Doré) have been making wine together since 1985, when they founded Foxen Winery & Vineyard at the historic Rancho Tinaquaic on Foxen Canyon Road.
