Nevada City Winery

More than a few small wineries have started in a garage, but we may be the only Winery to begin that way, move on to bigger and better quarters, and still be in a garage. Founded in 1980 in a small garage on the outskirts of town, in 1982 the Winery moved to its present location, the historic Miners Foundry Garage, on Spring St in downtown Nevada City. Remarkably, the Winery is located less than two blocks from where the original Nevada City Winery stood over a century ago. The Winery was begun by Allan Haley, a Nevada County native with a European wine education and a dream of bringing winemaking back to our region. In 1880 there were over 300 acres of grapes in the County. In 1980 when the Winery opened there was one small vineyard, recently planted. Twenty years later there are again well over 300 acres of grapes and the wine industry is flourishing once more.

Du Vigne

"Winemaking is the perfect match of nature and art. The winemakers' task is to take what nature offers in the vineyard and help to guide what the vine has to offer in the form of wine." - Ken Musso, Winemaker

Belle Marie Winery

Belle Marie Winery and Chateau Dragoo are located on the Escondido Wine and Culinary Campus in North Escondido along Interstate 15. Belle Marie Winery's facility encompasses a 20,000 gallon winery, three tasting rooms, multiple corporate and reception venues, educational facilities, a gourmet garden and a demonstration vineyard with varietals from around the world.

Eckert Estate Winery

Michael and Vickie Eckert opened the Tasting room December 2001, as one of Livermore Valley’s newest wineries. Michael takes his craft from vineyard to bottle by producing an eclectic array of hand-crafted wines from Italian, Portuguese, and French varietals – many that you don’t customarily find in a tasting room. Thisfamily owned and operated winery produces 2,500 cases annually. Here in the casual setting at Eckert Estate Winery, you can relax and taste exceptional wines, sample freshly made mustards and truffles, talk directly with the winemaker, or just admire the new murals depicting the good life.

Montoliva Vineyards & Winery

Some of the original settlers of Chicago Park were first-generation Italian-Americans from Chicago, Illinois. The orchards and vineyards of Chicago Park bear witness to their quest to start a community in the untamed West that mirrored their homeland. Their spirit lives on at Montoliva Vineyard & Winery. Founded in 2000, Montoliva Vineyard & Winery creates Tuscan-inspired wines of uncommon depth and character.

Tres Hermanas Winery

This is a great little winery along the Foxen Canyon trail. If you want a winery where the owners pour and you can actually talk about winemaking and the whole experience you get it here. Tres Hermanas does not make super jammy Central Coast wines but rather produces numerous wines in a more European style...lower in alcohol, higher in acid and basically more food friendly. I will have to say I enjoy 90% of what they produce.

Their Tres Hermanas Cuvee is incredible as is there Nebbiolo, Refosco, Syrah/Sangiovese blend and Muscat Cannelli.
