Crane Brothers Syrah

Crane Brothers as the name of the winery suggests, is owned and operated by two brothers Michael and Rob Crane who are third generation natives to the Napa Valley. Both have many years experience of being home winemakers and in the mid 90's purchased land in the Oak Knoll district and planted several varietals including Syrah, Merlot and Caberrnet Sauvignon. As they will tell you, they took the "long road" to becoming commercial winemakers and managing their own vineyards! Michael works in real estate and the Rob is a hospitality manager at Sterling Vineyards. Rob has grown up in and around the wine industry with his first winery job in the cellar at the old Christian Brothers Winery in 1970.

F. Teldeschi Winery

*Tiny* building with beautiful scenery, Teldeschi let us venture into the back room to see all the Oak barrels with the sweet alcoholic juices we were imbibing. There's something to be said about a winery just being a place for wine.

Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard

In 1987, Parker purchased a 714 acre ranch thirty five miles north of Santa Barbara, in the Santa Ynez Valley, where he promptly set about planning and establishing Fess Parker's Winery & Vineyard. I remember visiting some years ago the Fess Parker Winery and my wife and I having lunch at their Inn. I also remember growing up wearing a coonskin cap and pretending to be Davy Crockett. I never met Mr. Parker in person; however, I just have to admit how sentimental and touched I felt when I heard that he had died. I guess it is safe to say Fess lives on through the family he has left behind and the legacy he has left to his family and indirectly to us, Fess Parker Winery.

Art and Lei fine-tuned their viticultural skills over they years supplying highly sought after grapes to several wineries.

We have been trying to find a way for those that join the California Corks Winery Experience can enjoy this same experience, to meet the winemaker or have access to some of these harder to find wines. We are glad to say that we have found a way to do so that allows for plenty of opportunity to do both. We are glad to introduce Ruthe Roberts Wine Collective is the first of its kind in downtown Saratoga. A multi-winery tasting room that is home to some of the best and most talented winemakers in California. The wines are offered in pre-arranged flights to allow guests to compare different wines and discover new favorites. The Ruthe Roberts Wine Collective provides a warm, casual elegance in the beautiful courtyard or grab a table in the tasting room.
