Krupp Brothers Estates

Krupp Brothers Estate is a sprawling collection of over 600,000 vines planted on over 1300 acres...and growing! This winery is located 6 miles in at the end of Soda Canyon Road off of the southern part of Silverado Trail. It is a partnership between Dr. Jan Krupp and his brother as well as ownership coming from a Gordon Getty trust as well as other investors. Jan told us that he loves growing things; after growing up New Jersey he left for California for his medical shool and was exposed to California's long growing seasons; as a result he never left the "golden state". The vineyard land was originally cleared for planting in the early 90's.

Kukeri Wines

Winemaker Peter Kirilov

Winemaker Peter Kirilov, and Kukeri Wines is based out of Sebastopol. Peter has sourced the grapes for his 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Veeder of the Mayacamas Mountains that separates Sonoma from Napa. The clay and volcanic soils that are characteristic of this area produce small, intense fruit. A rich, ruby red color, the wine is remarkably smooth and balanced considering its relatively young age. Though Kirilov has just recently launched Kukeri he’s no stranger to wine making or the wine industry. He’s a full time wine-maker for two other wineries and founded VinoEnology.com, an industry website that offers winemaking solutions for vintners, including calculators, tools and marketplace. This boutique winery and winemaker is a good one to keep an eye on. Small production wines with the fire of the winemaker’s passion for the wines he makes. Peter offers a Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir.

Kukkula is a boutique winery on the west side of Paso Robles, focusing entirely on estate wines from dry-farmed and organically grown vines. The winery produces wines with a Rhone-centric bias. In addition to the vineyard, Kukkula farms French varietal olives and creates a Provençal field blend from their crop.

Kukkula, a vineyard, farm, and winery located on the west side of Paso Robles, CA, was established in 2004. Originally a walnut orchard, the property now includes nearly fifty acres of grapes, eight acres of olives, and thirty-two acres of walnuts. The winery crafts blended wines with a Rhone-centric bias, with all wines produced from organically and dry-farmed grapes, relying solely on rainwater.

Located on the eastern edge of the Napa Valley in the hills above Lake Hennessey and the town of Rutherford, this extraordinary mountaintop estate features 82 individual vineyard blocks, three distinctive soil types, and a range of elevations and exposures. From this rich and diverse palette of fruit, Kuleto Estate produces a small portfolio of exceptional estate grown wines.

Kuleto Estate wines are 100% estate-grown, produced and bottled. With 82.9 acres of vines planted between 800 and 1,450 feet, each of the 100+ micro-blocks must receive individualized treatment to maximize their potential. Winemaker Giovanni Verdejo has been working at Kuleto since 2002 and has mastered the art of cultivating the unique personalities of each block into some of the finest mountain estate wines in the Napa Valley.

Kunin Wines

Currently, Kunin Wines makes wines from five different grape varietals: viognier, zinfandel, syrah, grenache and mourvedre. Each varietal requires particular soil and climatic conditions to produce fruit that is of the superior quality that we demand. Therefore, we source our grapes from various vineyards, located throughout the region, to take advantage of the varying conditions and terrain and that each varietal is grown in its optimal environment.

L'Aventure

Wine lovers, get ready to dive into the captivating story of L'Aventure, where Stephan Asseo’s passion and innovative spirit have brought world-class wines to life in the stunning Paso Robles, California.

How It All Began
Stephan's journey began at L'Ecole Oenologique de Macon in Burgundy, France, and in 1982, he established Domaine de Courteillac in Bordeaux. Over the next 15 years, he cultivated his skills as an artisan winemaker, earning a reputation as a maverick vigneron. Yet, constrained by AOC regulations, he longed for the freedom to innovate and explore new possibilities.

The Adventure Begins
In 1998, seeking to expand his horizons, Stephan and his family set off on an adventurous quest to find the perfect location for their winemaking dreams. They traveled through renowned wine regions across the globe—from South Africa to Lebanon, Argentina to Napa—until they stumbled upon the unique terroir of west side Paso Robles. It was here that L'Aventure was born, igniting a new chapter in their winemaking journey.

Stephan's philosophy is centered on crafting wines that truly embody the essence of Paso Robles. Each cuvée is a carefully crafted blend of the estate's premium varieties, enhancing the wines’ authenticity, complexity, and balance.

Celebrating Milestones
In July 2023, L'Aventure proudly celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a journey filled with remarkable achievements. The winery became 100% estate-produced, unveiled a stunning new tasting room and caves, partnered with the Thiénot family, acquired a new vineyard, and embarked on exciting collaborative wine projects. As they continue to innovate and evolve, their commitment to quality remains steadfast, honoring the roots that inspired their adventure.

Join L'Aventure for a tasting experience that embodies the spirit of innovation and passion for wine. Cheers to the journey ahead!
