Livermore Valley

Dante Robere Vineyards

In 2012, two families decided to officially start a winery. Wanting to own a vineyard and build a winery facility from the ground up, they purchased a 6-acre Syrah vineyard and adjoining lot on Wetmore Road in South Livermore. Their winery, Dante Robere Vineyards is named after Dan and Bob. They currently make and pour their wine on Tesla Road in east Livermore while they await completion of construction of their new facility on Wetmore Road scheduled to open in 2015.

Their goal is to make wine from Livermore Valley grapes when possible but also to procure quality grapes from other wine growing regions that are well suited to certain unique varietals. Their estate-grown Syrah, blended wines featuring the estate Syrah, and other Rhone varietals such as Grenache and Mourvedre are their signature wines. But they also produce the stalwart varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Chardonnay, as well as more unique wines such as Tempranillo, Touriga and Barbera.

Noah's Vineyard

Noah Taylor has been making wine in California and elsewhere for 32 years. In 1977 the Taylor family planted a 10 acre vineyard on an abandoned 1870’s farm that they purchased near the town of Livermore, CA. They sold their first commercial crop sold to Wente Brothers Winery. In 1983 they decided to produce commercial volumes of wine and open a tasting room and winery. By 1984 they founded Retzlaff Vineyards, one of only five wineries in the Livermore Valley at the time.

Three Steves Wines

3 bottles of 3 Steves Winery wine

The idea for Three Steves Winery was born over 3 friends sitting around having a glass of wine and talking about starting their own winery. Steve Burman, Steve Melander, and Steve Ziganti all owned part of a small boutique winery where together they learned the art, science, and the business of the wine industry. The Trio had made lots of wine together, and our friends gave them some nice feedback on their wines. Before long this Trio realized they wanted to build their own label from the ground up, and the obvious choice was to name their new project the Three Steves Winery. If you drop in any weekend you will likely find one or more of the Steves their pouring wine and chatting with visitors. Be sure to give their Tres Gringos Chilean Blend (yes - grapes and Chili), Zig's Blend Zinfandel and Three Red Heads Blend and there are more to enjoy as well. Take a picnic lunch with your and make it a day with the whole family, even the pets. While in Livermore Wine Country be sure to stop in and have a visit with the owners and winemakers at Three Steves Winery.~

Blending traditional and innovative winemaking practices, the winery draws from approximately 3,000 acres of sustainably farmed Estate vineyards to create an outstanding portfolio of fine wines. Located just east of San Francisco in the historic Livermore Valley, Wente Vineyards is recognized as one of California’s premier wine country destinations, featuring wine tasting, fine dining and championship golf.

Earl is the winemaker and he is also an accomplished sculptor, watercolorist, and large format photographer. Linda has been a recognized amateur chef for over 20 years and studied at the Great Chefs at Robert Mondavi Academy.

Saturday and Sunday 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

El Sol Vineyard

El Sol has a range of wines, trending more towards reds than whites. Lots of interesting varietals and it seems that they are usually barrel tasting at least a pair of wines at any time.

Rodrigue-Molyneaux Winery

At Rodrigue Molyneaux, they believe that the great wine must come from great grapes. Nancy & Garry Rodrigue see to it that their grapes recieve intensive monitoring of the watering and pruning techniques. These farming practices keeps the yield down to three tons or less per acre. Although the yield will be smaller, the grapes will be larger with more fruit flavor. This is the reason Rodrigue Molyneaux red wines are so robust with a fruit-driven complex flavor.
