White Table Wines

Core Wine Company

Next time you’re traveling through the Central Coast, don't miss our cozy wine studio designed and operated by owner/winemakers Dave and Becky Corey. With over 125 years of family history in the Santa Maria area, in historic Old Town Orcutt, pouring wines for locals and visitors alike.
Best known for Mourvedre and Grenache, offer an amazing variety of wines from four unique labels including CORE, Kuyam, Turchi and C3.

Montemaggiore

Montemaggiore is a gorgeous, intimate, private wine experience tucked away on top of a hill in overlooking Dry Creek. It's incredible the amount of labor and care they put into making sure they are employing environmentally friendly, sustainable and organic wine-making practices.

Boaventurea de Caries Vineyards

Winemaking is an homage we pay to our inspiration, BoaVentura Baptiste de Caires, who instilled in his grandson, Brett Caires, a passion for relishing the simple things in life: family, food, and wine. From his legacy, Brett and Monique Caires proudly cultivated the winery’s heritage around the concept of “Boa Ventura,” or good venture.

Pedroncelli Winery and Vineyards

The Pedroncelli tasting room seems to be filled with history. The same family is still running it and everyone has a role in the business. The wines are great. They make a lovely Rose, some well-balanced cabs and a port that is delicious; just to name a few. Not sure how they do it, but the prices are extremely affordable. The staff is wonderful, probably since they are all related and are well vested into making it a great experience.

Terra Valentine

Just ten minutes up from Highway 29 and you have the view - of Napa Valley. Then, if you book a tasting tour, instead of standing at a bar, or a cold cellar, you will be seated in a room streaming with sunshine. From there a generous sampling of their current releases will be poured, alongside a nice place of cheese, nuts and chocolate. Time to consider the tasting...and what you will buy to have at home. I know that one of my Cabernet favorites.

Broc Cellars

At the tasting event, we got to try different whites and red wine varieties. Oddly, all the red wines tasted too young. The best wine was the white vine star blend wine. The flavors just juiced out. I was disappointed with this years vine star red release, having tasted the year prior. The best red wine that was poured was the carignin wine. Though to me, still a little immature, the flavor would be dead on.

Benjamin Silver Wine

Who would have guessed that a kid from Amherst, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences (Pre-Veterinary) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian from the University of Massachusetts, would end up in Santa Barbara County as an up-and-coming winemaker? Benjamin Silver did just that after catching the wine bug in 1993 at a summer job at Chicama Vineyards on Martha’s Vineyard.

Topel Winery

The tasting room is lively and fun. The service in the tasting room is superb. The employees were knowledgeable as well as entertaining. The wines were nice, especially the cabs. Great price points on all the wines.

Oreana Winery

The name Oreana comes from the grand ranching days of California’s Central Coast. Oreana is a term used by cattle ranchers for an unbranded calf that strays onto your property and is therefore yours to keep. Think of it as found treasure or the renegade spirit of this beautiful region and the wines we produce here. Oreana, Santa Barbara's downtown winery.
