Chimney Rock Winery

The Chimney Rock estate began to take shape in 1980 when Hack and Stella Wilson purchased a 180-acre parcel on the east side of the Silverado Trail, which included a golf course. They constructed a country house inspired by Cape Dutch-style architecture and soon began planting vineyards.

The initial 59 acres were planted with a mix of red and white grape varieties, leading to the production of the first vintage of Chimney Rock estate wines in 1984. In the early 1990s, the estate saw the addition of a Cape Dutch-style winery building, featuring a massive allegorical frieze of Ganymede, the cupbearer to the gods, and a new tasting room.

In 2000, the Terlato family partnered with the Wilson family, bringing additional resources and a vision to enhance Chimney Rock’s reputation for producing exceptional estate Cabernet Sauvignons. By 2002, the remaining 46 acres of land were exclusively planted with Cabernet Sauvignon.

Since the Terlato family assumed sole ownership of Chimney Rock in 2004, they have been dedicated to realizing the estate's full potential. They have consistently upheld the highest standards in viticulture and winemaking. Today, the Chimney Rock estate spans 119 acres of vineyards, divided into 28 distinct blocks, each tailored for specialized viticulture to match the unique characteristics of each site.

Chiron Wines

Wine is a magnificent creation formed by the union of natue with cultue. To sybolize this idea Mark McCoy and Bobby Moy include a stylized key, the symbol for Chiron to represent the "I" in Chiron. In January of 2020 Chieron wines became a winery partner with The Studio at Feast It Forward. 1031 McKinstry Street in downtown Napa. You can do a walk-in or call ahead for a private tasting.

The variety & quality of the wines were great. The owners were also very friendly & accomodating to our dogs, allowed them in the tasting room and even shut the door so they could run free. It was a gorgeous day and when another group decided to taste outside on the deck, we decided to finish ours there as well, a really nice outdoor space with great views.

Ever since then, Chronic Cellars has been fully committed to making seriously good wine for people looking for a little dose of adventure. Our disruptive style is matched only by the killer quality of our wines, made with character to match our clever and playful labels.

Churon Winery

This winery is pleasant and makes you feel like you are at home. Decor was very casual and warm. Staff was generous with their pouring. We had some reds and sweet wines. The sweet wine with plum and chocolate notes was one of the best. Their sherry was also very good. We even had some homemade lemon marmalade with crackers.

Ciento Cellars

"CIENTO" was born out of two inspirations.  "Cielo" or heaven in Spanish and "Viento" or wind.  In other words, "Heaven Wind."  It also happens to be the number one hundred in Spanish, perfection in the world of wine.  This is not about perfection, it's about joy, creativity, hard work, and family.  If perfection comes someday, the team at Ciento will be doubly blessed. 
The dream of Dave, Antonia, Sam, and Diego at this small family vineyard and winery started nearly 20 years ago.  It was just a dream then, but took a big step toward reality when we purchased our property in Paso Robles, CA in 2012.  It took seven long years of thinking, planning, raising a family, and dreaming before planting the vineyard in 2019.  
Ciento is 14 acres under vine with eight grape varietals.  The vines are thriving, producing beautiful, aromatic, and complex wines.   The team at Ciento is excited to showcase their handcrafted, small-batch wines!

Cima Collina

Cima Collina produces artisan wines sourced from small Monterey vineyards. The concept of "artisan wine" for them involves partnering with growers who meticulously cultivate their vineyards, selecting only the finest fruit, and crafting wine on a barrel-by-barrel basis.

Their focus on Monterey vineyards reflects an acknowledgment of the region’s potential to consistently produce wines that are interesting, compelling, and unique. The cool maritime climate, well-drained soils, and the vibrant energy of the local winemaking community contribute to a dynamic renaissance in the region, making it an exceptionally gifted area for growing grapes.

Cimarossa Vineyards

Dino's Italian heritage all but ensured a wine and farming way of life, through it wasn't his only calling, at least initially. Prior to officially getting into the "grape game" in 1997, Dino studied at the University of Genoa where he uncorked a passion for the scientific aspects of medicine, which led him first to Switzerland and then the U.S. for his work with virus and infectious disease. With some "serendipity and luck" (Dino's words) his move to the West Coast coincided with the region's biotechnology boom. Turns out the yeast used in biotechnology is the same type used in wine fermentation. A wine country way of life planted its seeds.

Medicine not only shaped a lifelong career but also fostered a flourishing relationship between Dino and his wife, Corry Dekker. Corry Dekker, who leads vaccine clinical research at Stanford University, specializes in vaccine safety and frequently serves as an advisor to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). At Stanford, she oversees vaccine trials and regularly conducts adult lecture series and discussions within her field.

The couple first connected over their shared interest in biotechnologies while working at Chiron, each making significant strides in their respective areas. With a background in pediatrics, Corry has earned the title of "The Queen of Flu Vaccines," as Dino affectionately describes her. She has collaborated with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in response to national emergencies and has worked across a range of disease areas, including smallpox, malaria, and the recent H1N1 outbreak. Her team is dedicated to keeping the public informed about disease prevention.

Cinnabar Vineyards & Winery

Cinnabar Winery is a family-owned establishment that embraces winemaking as a harmonious blend of science and nature's magic. Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains, their vibrant Saratoga and Gilroy Tasting Rooms serve as the heart of the winery, where they collaborate with local growers to transform California's finest grapes into distinctive and approachable wines.

History

Founded in 1983 by the late Tom Mudd, Cinnabar initially planted vineyards and constructed a majestic winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Following Tom's passing, the estate changed hands in 2007, and Cinnabar relocated to its new home in downtown Saratoga.

In 2019, Ron Mosley, the original vineyard manager, took ownership, completing a remarkable full-circle journey. Ron is dedicated to honoring Cinnabar's legacy while steering the business toward an exciting future. Cinnabar's philosophy remains rooted in the joy of creating serious wine with a sense of fun.
