Cove Crest Farm / Griggs Winery is a small, family owned farm/vineyard and winery in the mountains of northeastern Shasta County, California.
Moseley Family Cellars is a small, family-owned winery in Redding California. Mimi and Marty did not start out with tons of dollars in the bank when starting Moseley Family Cellars. However, Mimi and Marty Moseley had tons of passion and some experience in traveling around the sun on this planet for a few years and being involved with other ventures. It has been enjoyable to watch Moseley Family Cellars grow from a small storefront to a fully operational winery. When they say; “Come as friends, leave as family." You know they mean it.~

Had a wonderful afternoon enjoying the variety of wines from this lovely little vineyard. John poured for us and took extra time to explain some of the complexities of the wines. The tasting room and outside deck area are tranquil and relaxing and the wines are excellent. Produces an outstanding Syrah!!
Anselmo Vineyards is a beautiful winery and ranch that cloaks 15 acres in Northern California. World-class cuisine at Anselmo Vineyards comes from a kitchen that serve their very own beef – a true pasture-to-plate affair. The winery offers a first class wine tasting room that proudly serve a variety of wines. San Anselmo Vineyards serves three red wines: a bold Cabernet Sauvignon, a full bodied Merlot, and a smooth blended Majorette.
Had a great time visiting with David at his Whitmore winery. The focus at Dakaro Cellars is on Rhone and Bordeaux Varietals, Italian and Spanish Varietals: Syrah, Viognier, Tempranillo, Pinot Grigio. David Roth when asked how he got into winemaking to the point of producing for others to enjoy his reply was; "Well, I took a hobby that I really enjoyed and ruined it by making it into a job." I have do disagree with David as his love for wine and the experience of sharing his wines with others speaks just a little louder. Dakaro produces some nice wines and produces a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourverde and Counoise that is very impressive. If you can get your hands on a bottle take your time and experience the wine change and evolve as you enjoy it. Nice, layers that seem to unfold so nicely if you don't rush through the wine. What a wonderful gem from Shasta Cascade area. Dakaro Cellars is a little of the beaten path, but worth the drive if you are near Redding. We are pleased to have the folks at Dakaro Cellars as one of our winery friends and listed in our California Winery Directory.*
