Both Scott and Jana are warm, welcoming hosts, making every visit a memorable one. And, of course, their excellent wines are the highlight of the experience!

Keenan is a nice, friendly, down-to-earth tasting. It was interesting to taste and informative about the vineyards and region, which was particularly useful to put their wines in perspective of the valley.
Keenan's Summer Blend is a white wine crafted primarily from Chardonnay, with a portion of an aromatic white varietal added to enhance its fruity character. The aromatic varietal in the blend accentuates the wine's nose, while the Chardonnay provides structure and additional aromatic complexity. The lighter body of this blend inspired the name "Summer Blend," making it an ideal choice for warm summer evenings. The wine offers aromas of ripe peach, lemon zest, and pineapple, complemented by concentrated floral nuances. This medium-bodied wine features crisp acidity and mouth-filling flavors.
The 2018 vintage marked the 20th consecutive release of Keenan's "Mernet" (mare-nay), their proprietary blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The name "Mernet" reflects the blend's composition, part Merlot ("Mer") and part Cabernet Sauvignon ("net"). The resulting wine is a seamless fusion, highlighting rich, high-toned fruit with a subtle depth and structure. It can be enjoyed immediately or aged for decades to come.
At Booker Wines, the mission is clear: to thoughtfully farm and craft world-class wines that leave a small ecological footprint while making a significant impact. Their estate vineyard, which proudly achieved Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) status in 2023, produces a diverse range of wines, with a particular emphasis on Rhône varietals. The name "Booker" honors two orphan brothers, Claude and Dick Booker, who acquired the land in the late 1920s. By the turn of the century, the Booker brothers had amassed over 1,200 acres on Paso Robles' Westside, dedicating their lives to exceptional farming and humanitarian efforts. When they passed away—Dick in 1990 and Claude in 2000—they generously left 100% of their estate to charity.
In 2001, Eric and Lisa Jensen purchased 100 acres of the property, aiming to cultivate the best fruit for the region's top wineries. After gaining invaluable experience making wine with renowned winemakers Justin Smith of Saxum and Stephan Asseo of L'Aventure Wines, the Jensens decided to create their own expression with Booker Vineyard. The 2005 vintage marked Booker Vineyard's first release, crafted by founder Eric Jensen. The vineyard achieved organic certification in April 2021, further solidifying its commitment to sustainable practices.

Indoor offers couches and casual seating throughout their modern wood paneled tasting room. Ourdoor tastings allow you to lay back on a chaise lounge and enjoy the sun and bask over the vineyards. A truly great tasting experience that is relaxed, cozy, tasty, fun, informative, and for a reasonable price. Paraduxx is the 2nd Tier (of 4) winery brand from Duckhorn with others being Decoy and Goldeneye. These are blend wines so while tasty are not yet appreciated by serious wine enthusiasts though this is changing. They do table service a little differently than most, which I enjoyed. They bring out your entire flight of tastings at the same time and give you information on each wine. I like a little more privacy to decide if I like the wine without feeling pressure. Our sommelier was really energetic and passionate about the wine - loved his interest in us and the wine.
This is a wonderful place for different wines. You must call to arrange an appt and do so at least a week or two in advance. The grounds are wonderful and the building is special. We got to see the caves which had cement containers for some of the wine. Bring your camera for great garden photos. I personally loved their Chardonnay and Cab.

Westbrook Wine Farm the vineyard and winery are located on a mountainous forty acre site at an elevation of 1440 feet in the central Sierra Nevada range of eastern Madera County, California. Close to the hamlet of O'Neals and not far from Bass Lake, the town of Oakhurst and the Southern entrance to Yosemite National Park.
