Jaeger Vineyards are grape growers who sell their fruit to local wineries. Its first objective is to keep business in Napa with sustainability and good farming at the forefront, protecting the soil's terroir and following sound practices in order to do so. The family owned vineyard began back in the early 70s when Bill Jaeger came to Napa and bought some land in the district of Oak Knoll, a now renowned area for wine that is recognized worldwide. Varietals include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Jaeger Vineyards is partnered with Alpha Omega Wines and Amour Prive Winery.

The vineyard of Chatom Vineyards is nestled in the breathtaking Esmeralda Valley of the Sierra Foothills in Calaveras County. The valley was originally planted with low-field crops, fruits, and nut trees. When Gay Callan, owner and native San Franciscan, purchased the property in 1980, her vision was to plant a vineyard. Her first varietals were planted in 1981, totaling 21 acres of Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc. Today, the vineyard boasts 13 varietals planted on 65 acres, including Chardonnay, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah, Sangiovese and 5 Portuguese varietals. The reds were all fantastic..I really was pleasantly surprised. Their tasting room has a large table that they invite you to sit at, or , you can go outside and sit at those smaller tables, if you choose to. Wines are fantastic and the people here are passionate, welcoming and knowledgeable. They host a number of fun events and perks for wine club members. They also are well known for their micro-batch wine making - come make your own wine from start to finish (blending, bottling, labeling) with the experts!
