From the very beginning, Redmon Wines made a steadfast commitment to producing wines of the highest quality, with no shortcuts taken.

Located in St. Helena, CA, Redmon Wines is a family-owned winery with deep roots in the Napa Valley that span nearly 50 years. With over two decades of winemaking expertise, the winery’s small production wines have earned a reputation as some of the finest in the region. Visitors are warmly welcomed to explore the exceptional offerings of Redmon Wines.

The winery's small scale enables them to form genuine connections with their customers. They take great pleasure in sharing their story with newcomers and learning about the experiences that led them to Redmon Wines. Together, they build lasting friendships and expand the Redmon wine family.

Redmon Wines’ approach to winemaking involves French oak barrels, premier vineyards, and meticulous practices, ensuring that every bottle is a truly handcrafted product. Lisa Redmon, the driving force behind Redmon Wines, is originally from the close-knit community of Saint Helena, California, and her journey in the wine industry is deeply rooted in her upbringing.

In the early 1970s, Lisa’s family moved to Saint Helena and purchased the local A&W Restaurant, which they operated for 35 years. Growing up in this hardworking environment, Lisa Redmon developed a strong work ethic and dedication from an early age.

Vine Cliff Winery

Vine Cliff Winery was established in 1871, when 500 acres were carved out of the George Yount estate. One of the first bonded wineries in the United States, and the first in Napa to plant Bordeaux varietals on a commercial scale, Vine Cliff was one of the region’s most successful wineries through the end of the 19th Century. A series of natural problems drove the winery under in the early 20th Century, with the land remaining fallow until it was purchased by Nell Sweeney for her family in 1985. Now, under the leadership of Rob Sweeney, the family’s oldest son, Vine Cliff has regained its position as a leader in the production of superior Napa Valley wines.

Woof ’n Rose Winery, owned by Stephen and Marilyn Kahle, is a small family operated Boutique winery on a north-facing hillside overlooking the beautiful Ramona Valley. We make only red wines made exclusively from Ramona Valley grapes, mostly using our eight estate grown varietals – Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Grenache Noir, Montepulciano, and Alicante Bouschet (a very unique varietal). Relax on our outdoor dog and rose themed tasting veranda, view the vineyards and surrounding mountains and valley, and chat with the owners and operators; all while enjoying our current releases, many of which have been medalists at international wine competitions. For the enjoyment of the white wine only aficionado we normally offer a by the glass option from other sources.

The Lucas Winery was established in 1978 because we believed we had the soil, climate, and vineyards to produce great wines. Our philosophy is simple - We believe wines should be crafted to reflect the place they are from. Crafting organically farmed*, hand harvested, unblended pure varietal wines.

Try the 2008 Primativo - spicy, black pepper, complexity, a real treat. On Saturdays, they have live music to go along with great wine tasting. Gary and Christina Smith continue the fine art of winemaking and vineyard tending, which Gary’s father began with his three sons. Now with three sons of their own, the Smiths handcraft small lots of classic varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Primitivo, Syrah and Chardonnay from their 10-acre certified organic vineyard near Grass Valley, CA.

What a delightful hidden gem worth the short jaunt off the main road. The jovial Scott gave us an extended pour of some wonderful if overpriced wines. but the out door tasting was a treat and the much lower traffic spend some real personal attention.
