What a delightful hidden gem worth the short jaunt off the main road. The jovial Scott gave us an extended pour of some wonderful if overpriced wines. but the out door tasting was a treat and the much lower traffic spend some real personal attention.
We stopped here to meet friends while visiting SLO for the first time. We brought sandwiches from an outside sandwich shop and bought a bottle of white wine to share on the benches overlooking the Bocce ball area and vineyards. It really doesn't get any more spectacular in terms of view. Combined with wine and a picnic...it's a recipe for a perfect afternoon.

Stephen Storrs and Pamela Bianchini-Storrs begn Storrs winery with their first harvest n 1988. Both are trained winemakers at UC Davis, they have wrked at a number of wineries which include Domaine Chandon, Felton-Empire and Almaden before starting their own venture. Stephen and Pamela appreciate the cool Burgundian climate of the Santa Cruz Mountains. This winery grew to a comfortable 10,000 cases per year and in 2001 realized a dream with the purchase of land in Pleasant Valley district of Corralitos.
These tasty little wines were introduced nationally in 2008 from California’s Central Coast and represented a finely crafted, fruit-forward, indulgent and eminently approachable style of wine. The inaugural release included Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Foursight Wines is located on a beautiful piece of land and it is one of those wineries that just transform you to another place. Plus the staff is incredible there. Family run and friendly dogs. Fine Pinot, yummy DRY gewurz and a wide range of wines to sample. The pours are generous, repeated and free. Hard to find at retail level, this is a must stop in the Anderson Valley.
Shortly after John Munch moved to Paso Robles in 1978, he acquired a bond to build a winery at his home property. Located at 3333 Vine Hill Lane, this served as the original bonded site of Adelaida Cellars, which John founded in 1981. He and his partners subsequently settled on a vineyard and winery site further west, but the bond remained intact, as did John’s dream of someday building a winery there…

A single vineyard estate that produces an ultra premium pinot noir from their 10,000 vines planted on 1.75 acres. Cloud Rest is situated at a lofty 1250 ft. on Sonoma Mountain in the Sonoma Coast AVA. Cloud Rest believes bottle aging their Pinot Noir for a minimum of 3 years, after resting in French Oak for 1 1/2- 2 years is the right thing to do before releasing it. Cloud Rest just recently added a Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Cloud Rest's goal is to consistently produce world class wines that make great memories.
