Hagafen Cellars

two friends and wine by Artist Agata Zaborowski

Nice, quaint winery. Has outdoor tables/seating and even cornhole (bean bag toss) game if you wanted to play. And a cute little picnic table for the kids. Our wine guide was friendly and super helpful. Mom enjoyed this spot because it had a nice selection of sweeter wines, e.g. Riesling. Very laid back environment. Bought some sandwiches from the deli just down the street recommended by Hagafen and ate at Hagafen outdoors while enjoying some Riesling. Robert Hunter Winery

The estate is very modest and the owners live on the property. The tour starts with a history of the brand and an introduction of the backyard. Then we were invited into the home of the owner, Robert Hunter. The tasting took place in the living room.

Flying Goat Cellars

Pour a glass of wine, kick back and read about our exciting adventure that is Flying Goat Cellars. A “Mission of Merriment,” which seeks to produce great wine that is reasonably priced and ready to drink upon release.

Charlie & Echo

A hidden gem!! Charlie & Echo is small and it's easy to miss if you're not really looking for it. The woman helping us was very friendly and attentive. She was very knowledgeable about the wines. She offered some great suggestions. I loved everything I tried but I really loved their Grenache and Syrah.  I was very impressed with their house wines as well. I don't usually drink white wine but their house white is one to try. Glad Charlie & Echo  found us and reached out to us a few years ago. This is a great little place and I can't wait to go back! Oh! They make Spritzers too.*

Churon Winery

This winery is pleasant and makes you feel like you are at home. Decor was very casual and warm. Staff was generous with their pouring. We had some reds and sweet wines. The sweet wine with plum and chocolate notes was one of the best. Their sherry was also very good. We even had some homemade lemon marmalade with crackers.

Cardella Winery

The vineyards at Cardella Ranch were first panted in the 1970's and have been sold to premier California wineries ever since. Nathan Cardella, 4th generation, after graduating from the Enology and viticulture program at Fresno State in 204, founded Cardella Winery with his father Rod. Nathan and Rod believed premium artisan wines were lacking n the San Joaquin Valley and felt that the Cardella family could help fill this niche. Today the winery producs numerous award-winning varieties and has earned a reputation for being a cut above.

Fults Family Vineyards

We invite you to create your own experience while you enjoy a glass of our hand crafted wine.

Schramsberg Vineyards

Cave tours are not created equal. This one is fantastic, despite being a tad pricey. Rich in history and rooted with tradition, it's almost hard to believe that Schramsberg sparkling wines are relatively easy to come by at gourmet grocers outside of California (Central Market in TX carries 4 bottles of sparkling varietals).

The property is beautiful, and not your 'typical' pretty manor situated among a valley of vines. A short drive up the slightly windy road rewards you with a lush estate nestled in trees, flanked by the caves, and with several ponds to complete the tranquil atmosphere.

Laguna Canyon Winery

Laguna Canyon Winery is currently featuring three brands that are available in their two tasting rooms and 15 states throughout the United States. Their main premium brand 'Laguna Canyon', 'Purple Paws' and Wyland Cellars. A portion of all Purple Paws wine sales go the care of homless pets. Marine artist 'Wyland' embellishes the Wyland Cellars brand and a portion of the sales go to the Wyland Foundation which supports clean rivers, oceans, the environment and the protection of sea life. Our founder John Krause has made several visits to Laguna Canyon Winery when he would commute between San Diego and Orange County. Do yourself a favor when visiting Laguna Canyon Winery and be sure to try a few of their red blends. *
