You'll have to visit them at their tasting room to find out more details.

Berthoud Vineyards and Winery

Berthoud Wines (Berthoud is pronounced: BEAR2) are produced and estate bottled in the barn depicted on the label from vines that are meticulously managed to yield less than two tons of small, concentrated grapes per acre. The grapes are punched down by hand several times each day in traditional open-top redwood vats during fermentation to maximize color and flavor extraction in the gentlest mannerTasting and purchasing Berthoud Wines is available at
Mayo Family Winery 13101 Arnold Dr., Glen Ellen, CA

Chesebro Wines

I love this tasting room. There is lots of space in the place and art to amuse you in between the tasting. The wines are fantastic and even though they are not widely advertised, they are a good buy.

The service is great and they enjoy spending time talking to you about the wine. Definitely check this place out if you are in Carmel Valley. I really enjoyed the red blend from Arroyo Seco.

Davero

Family feel with lots of character. They have tasty olive oil and wine. It doesn't have the contemporary feel of some nearby wineries. They know who they are and give off that old-fashion feel. A nice, small place to end the day in Russian River Valley.

Enotria

THE GRAZIANO FAMILY OF WINES HOPLAND TASTING ROOM. The tasting room is much smaller and more intimate than most found in the more commercial areas of California’s wine country, but in it are served as many as thirty premium wines under four distinct labels: Saint Gregory for Pinots, Monte Volpe for central and southern Italy and the Friuli region in the northeast, Enotria, specializing in the heritage of the Piedmont region of northwest Italy, and Graziano, which produces the heritage grapes of Mendocino, many of which are from head-pruned, Old Vine vineyards. All wines here are always open for sampling and there is never a tasting fee. In addition to an amazing array of hand-crafted artisan white, rose and red wines

Tablas Creek

Tablas Creek bottles are widely distributed and easy to find in wine stores, I don't always visit their tasting room. Not only can I often find better deals at wine shops, but I have a fairly good idea what wines of theirs I prefer so a tasting isn't extremely helpful. But, I can't resist and it helps that they increased the size of the tasting menu. It also helps that they will pour and sell wines not on the typical tasting run-down and not typically found in stores.

Grand Amis Winery

After nearly 25 years of managing some 2,000 acres of premium grapes, Jonathan and Cathy thought they might try their hand at making a little wine. They enjoyed working together, and knew they had some great fruit coming from these vineyards, so in 2000, they made a small amount of Zinfandel. Still not sure how good they had done, they sampled the wine with winemakers and others in the industry, and received such favorable feedback they decided to move forward. In January 2002 they started their own winery.

Ziveli Winery

Ziveli Winery

The Nale family calls a spot along the San Joaquin River home both to their family and Ziveli Winery. Here the Nale family have taken on the task of producing some wonderful Croatian style wines in the fertile soil that they call home. How nice to be greeted by a Nale family members as they pour you a delightful taste of their wines. You can tell that winemaking is a family passion. Join the Nale's for one of there events, or simply stop in for a delightful experience with their wines. Oh, ask if they have any of their wonderful Syrah filled chcoolates. It was a great winery experience talking with John and Caleb Nale during a recent visit. Be sure to try the Syrah it was a wonderful ending to our wine tasting experience when paired with local chocholates filled with the same wine. In fact, you may just have to take a few of these chocolates home with you. We are please to have Ziveli Winery listed in our directory and to be sharing it with our readers.~
