Jim and Debbie Van Haun founded Cedar View Winery in 1999 with an emphasis on producing rare, eclectic, hard-to-find varietals. The winery's estate “flagship” grape, Alicante Bouschet, is made as a very popular award-winning red wine as well as a very rare Rosé and Port style wine.

The son of Van and Betty Ballentine, Frank Ballentine has seamlessly blended his passion for wine with business acumen, crafting his own major at UC Davis, crowning his academic achievements with an MBA at Fresno State, and continually augments his expertise through executive management programs at Stanford and Harvard. After college, Frank was a winemaker in the San Joaquin Valley and Fresno. Transitioning from winemaking to food manufacturing and distribution, Frank held senior roles at Odwalla during its meteoric growth and currently serves as the President and CEO of GreenLeaf for 25 years, a prominent purveyor of high-quality produce and specialty products. In all of these pursuits, Frank has ceaselessly sought best practices to elevate his family business.
In 2012, Frank joined forces with his aging parents to oversee the Ballentine Vineyards. Here, he rekindled his love for the land and the intricate science of vineyard management with his wife Linda and children Ryan and Audrey by his side. Collaborating closely with Winemaker Bruce Devlin, a shared vision emerged.
A journey into the coastal town of Cambria, CA opened the eyes of Edgar Torres's father, a young immigrant, to a better life for his family. Sure enough, Edgar's father was right. A whole world was out there for his children to embrace. Bodega is the Spaniard term for a winery or cellar. Considering the Torres Family's Hispanic heritage and passion for Spanish wines, the brand name seemed a natural fit.
Edgar Torres's wine journey started as a waiter in Paso Robles, CA. There he was exposed to many great wine producers. Several winemakers became friends and eventually opened their doors to Edgar and his desire to learn more about wines. Like so many before him, Edgar started as a Cellar Rat and moved on to learn the many different aspects of the wine industry. Winemaker Edgar Torres and his enthusiasm for producing great wines brought him and his wife to the development of our brand, Bodega de Edgar, in 2007.

They added Barton’s Kitchen in 2013, offering farm-to-table, casual cuisine, and in 2022, Grain+Vine Craft Distillery was born.

Andrew and Laurel Quady left crowded southern California and their jobs in pyrotechnics and merchandising to pursue their dream: a non-urban way of life making wine. Andrew graduated with a Masters in Food Science-Enology from UC Davis and Laurel became a licensed CPA. In 1975, at the urging of friend Darrell Corti, they made their first port from Amador County Zinfandel in Lodi. Today you can experience the passion of this couple that started with their first Amador County Zinfandel Port. Quady Winey is located in the Central Valley of California in Madera along the Madera Wine Trail. Joining the team in 1984 as winemaker Michael Blaylock to manage the growth in the winemaking operations that Essensia Orange Muscat and Elysium Black Muscat Dessert Wines. Now after more than 3 decades later Michael has a lot of award-winning sweet wines to smile about and put a smile on your face as well. Trotter 1/16 Winery has some great wines that are very limited. Meet owner and winemaker Stephanie Trotter Zachari. Stephanie's inagural wine release are something to stand up and take notice of even though they were limited to just 36 rows. Trotter 1/16 Winery just earned Double-Golds and earned some bragging rights for her Flying J's and Oak Canon Caberbet Sauvigons both 2016's. Each of the wines earned (93pts and 98pts) respectively. DeWayne and Marilyn Boccali have been the heart and soul behind Boccali's Pizza & Pasta, a beloved home-style Italian restaurant in the picturesque Ojai Valley, for over three decades. Renowned for its traditional Italian dishes with a local twist, the restaurant uses farm-fresh produce sourced from their very own Boccali Ranch in Upper Ojai Valley. The rich, fertile soil combined with DeWayne's impressive five decades of farming experience results in a bounty of flavorful fruits and vegetables that give their menu a unique edge. DeWayne also serves as co-winemaker and vineyard manager for the family winery.
Joining him in this venture is his partner and fellow winemaker, Joe Boccali, who also happens to be a musician and educator in Ventura County. Raised in the farming tradition, Joe has been involved in developing the land that is now home to Boccali Vineyards since he was a child. As co-winemaker and cellar master, he continues to deepen his winemaking knowledge and skills.
In 2004, the Boccali family planted their first rows of vines where their Christmas tree farm and seasonal pumpkin patch once thrived. By 2006, they harvested their first crop, which was used to create a small batch of wine exclusively for family enjoyment. The following year marked a milestone with the production of their inaugural vintages: Topa Topa Syrah, Old Winery Zinfandel, and Shangri-La Grenache Blanc, all offered to the public for the first time. Each subsequent year saw the planting of new vineyard sections, including Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier.
Today, Boccali Vineyards spans approximately 5 acres and produces between 1,500 and 2,500 cases of wine, depending on the whims of the growing season. For wine enthusiasts visiting the Ojai Valley, Boccali's Winery offers a delightful experience steeped in family tradition, local flavors, and the passion of two dedicated winemakers.

Stehleon Vineyards wines are San Diego grown and produced. Owned by Al and Lisa Stehly, their grove and vineyard management company cares for the vines that produced these first vintages. Small, custom vineyards have been hand pruned and the fruit hand harvested. Wine-making has become a family affair, and daughter Alysha Stehly produces and bottles the wine in Escondido in northern San Diego County. Having recently planted their vineyard of Rhone varietals, the Stehlys hope to eventually expand their offerings of wine that always pair well with friends
