A. Nonini Winery

A. Nonini Winery logo

A. Nonini Winery (aka Fresno's best-kept secret) was founded in 1936 by Antonio and Angiolina Nonini, and the business carries on managed by the fourth generation. We were pleased to tour the winery, starting with the 1941 Garolla grape crusher from Italy and ending with the finished product resting in the redwood tanks, which can easily be arranged by calling James Jordan.  They also have facilities for hosting special events. Be sure to try the Nonini Winery's Ruby Cabernet. The winery opens it's tasting room from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.~

Bassetti Vineyards

Neil Bassetti Vineyards is a family owned company that brings you the boldest and richest wine traditions of California. Neil Bassetti Vineyards has a long history dating back to 1958 where Neil Bassetti started in the farming business of the Central Coast area. Today and every day Neil tends to the vineyards personally to ensure constant attention to the vineyard to maintain a generous annual yield.

He still continues to follow family traditions. There's always plenty of food to eat after a long day's hard work. Whether it may be a celebration or family dinner, Neil preaches to bestow a bottle of wine as the salvation for anything and everything. Whether it be over dinner, a gift, or a toast at a very special occasion, we hope you enjoy a glass as much as we do.

You have only so many bottles in your life, never drink a bad one.

Bertagna Son Kissed Vineyard

The history of the Bertagna family farming and winemaking began centuries ago in Italy. The Bertagnas have been almond farmers for four generations, a tradition Berton Bertagna continues today. Berton's great grandfather made wine for his friends and family in Italy and continued the practice when he immigrated to Chico through Ellis Island in 1912. While the family continued farming almonds, the art of winemaking skipped two generations before being started again by Berton, through the encouragement of his wife, Carol.

Naughty Boy Vineyards

Naughty Boy Vineyards is a small organic Pinot Noir Vineyard. Planted in 1996 by the owners and farmed organically by Jim Scott.

The Pinot Noir is made in the Burgundian style. Naughty Boy Vineyards buys only new French oak and barrel ferment for 18 months to 2 years before bottling and then wait a year to release it. Naughty Boy Vineyards offers two labels, our original label has our pet boxer "Little Ricky" who was a faithful vineyard dog and helped with planting and frost protection

Topel Winery

The tasting room is lively and fun. The service in the tasting room is superb. The employees were knowledgeable as well as entertaining. The wines were nice, especially the cabs. Great price points on all the wines.

TY Caton Cellars

Nice big reds here. Everything we tasted had merit. Another plus is the tasting room is shared with Muscardini so you can taste two wineries at once. George was very accommodating and knowledgeable. If you are a red fan, you'll want to stop in.

Caliza Winery

Painting by Agata Zaborowski

Caliza is a small, family-owned and operated vineyard and winery located in the coveted Willow Creek district of Paso Robles, California. Carl Bowker, owner, and winemaker, has followed a long yet steady path towards his goal of producing special wines. Born and raised in Hawaii, Carl began his farming experience while tagging along with his father, an irrigation specialist to the local farms. This early introduction left a lasting impression and a true appreciation for soils and farming life. Little did he realize that this childhood curiosity would lead him to the special soils of Paso Robles, California.

This winery's focus is on crafting wines from varietals common to the Rhône Valley of France - Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Viognier, among others. But like many winemakers in Paso Robles, we like to throw a surprise or two in the mix. Our wines reflect what we feel are an excellent example of what the region has to offer – bold, yet elegant wines that drink well today and well into the future.

Galleo E&J Winery
