Al Lago Wines

Blair Allan and Simone Lagomarsino after many trips to Napa, Sonoma, and Europe, planted a vineyard to bridge their European heritage with the new world of winemaking to create remarkable wines with unique character and flavor.  They planted varietals proven to grow well in the area.  Among these were Sangiovese, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and three different clones of Pinot Noir, and thus, Al Lago Wines was born.  In 2014, they proudly partnered with winemaker Guillaume Fabre who further enhanced the exceptional quality of the vineyard.  Each vine is carefully tended, hand-pruned, and picked to guarantee wines of the highest quality.

Laetitia Vineyard & Winery

This winery has about 25 options to taste - 6 or so bubbly selections (delicious), 8 Pinot selections (delicious), 6 white selections (delicious) and some other reds (are you noticing a theme here)?

It is a $10 tasting fee for 5 wines but you should probably buy two tastings and at least go through the bubbly and some of the pinots.

The tasting room does get pretty crowded but there are some nice chairs and umbrellas outside where you can picnic.

Allegretto Wines

On a trip to Paso Robles years ago, Douglas Ayres was awed by the beauty of the land, the warmth of the people and the promising wine region. While later traveling through some of the most celebrated wine and cultural areas of the world, the memory of Paso Robles inspired him to return with a vision of owning vineyards, making world-class wine and developing a destination driven wine country resort.

Brochelle Vineyards

Brochelle Vineyards is located in Paso Robles and has some really nice wines. Their flagship is Zinfandel but their Petite Sirah and Chardonnay speak for themselves as well. The tasting room is very nice, a great find! Two locations for your tasting pleasure:

1. Westside Location: 6996 Peachy Canyon Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446
2. Eastside location: 2323 Tuley Rd #130, Paso Robles, CA 93446

Ozeki Saki

Ozeki recommends that you throw away the widely-held misconception that sake should be served hot. In the past, many sakes were served hot to mask the pour quality of Saki in the United States.

Alta Colina Vineyards & Winery

In 2003, after 35 years as an engineer by day, and a home winemaker by night, Bob Tillman found the 130-acre parcel in Paso Robles' Adelaida District that would become Alta Colina Vineyard. The 31 planted acres and 8 Rhone varieties that make up Alta Colina Vineyard hit the dirt in 2005 and his daughter, Maggie Tillman, came on in 2008 to help in the efforts. With a complete focus on estate-grown Rhones, Bob crafts about 2,000 cases a year and continues to sell the remainder of the fruit to other great Rhone winemakers throughout the Central Coast. Quality, legacy, and love of the land are Bob's signature.

Asuncion Ridge Vineyards Tasting Room

The journey began when Winemaker, Philip Krumal and Entrepreneur, Michael Dilsaver met in a wine appreciation class in 1995. Their love of fine wine, great food and inspiring friendships lead to the ultimate dream of “living the wine country dream.” Their first Pinot Noir vineyard was planted in 2002 in the Santa Lucia Mountains overlooking Morro Bay, thus starting the Asuncion Ridge story. Philip and Michael's philosophy is a simple one…”wine begins in the vineyard.”

Crazy Woman Cellars

Chris’ journey into wine-making was circuitous. His curiosity was first piqued in the 1990s after visiting Napa for wine tasting. Years later, he started frequenting Paso Robles and fell in love with the people, the food, the wine, and the overall beauty of the area. After his children left for college, he sold the family business and relocated to Paso Robles in 2013 and dug right in. He planted a vineyard in Templeton consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. He went back to school and studied both viticulture and Oenology while serving as an intern at multiple wineries. After making wine at home for several years, he finally decided to make the leap and open our tasting lounge in downtown Paso Robles.

Cordant Winery

David and DeAnn Taylor founded Cordant Winery in 2014 to produce Pinot Noir and Rhone-style wines that would become favorites in their cellar, and hopefully those of friends, family, and customers. Today the Taylors make about 3000 cases of wine per year, from Monterey County in the northern California Central Coast moving south through Santa Barbara County, a distance that covers almost 200 miles.
