Foot Path Winery

This place is adorable!! Extremely down to earth, wonderful wines and amazingly knowledgable service! The owner of Foot Path Winery is super nice and friendly. Four horses welcome you as you pull up in front of the tasting barn. Yes, I said barn. The owner's daughter was the only person serving while we were there as it was fairly early in the day still. She was absolutely a joy to talk to and was very open and honest about all of the wines. I would recommend this place to any Red wine lovers that visit Temecula Wine County for their wine tasting.

Turtle Rock Ridge is a Ramona winery located in the beautiful back country of San Diego County. Our name was inspired by our very own granite monolith that towers above our vineyard. Our wines are made from the very best grapes grown both in our vineyard and sourced locally within the Ramona and California wine region. We feature a selection of red and white wines, and have a velvety smooth port style wine called "Chocolate Turtle". We are very proud to share the fact that many of our wines have won awards. The Rockpile Vineyard, at the northwestern end of Rockpile Road, is approximately 2000 feet above Lake Sonoma and Dry Creek Valley. Originally owned by Rod and Cathy Park, vines were planted as early as 1992, known as the kick off of the grape growing era. In late 2014, the Park family sold the 800 acre ranch to Ken and Diane Wilson, the beginning of the 10th winery being added to the family of Wilson Artisan Wines.

Originally planted with 25 acres of vines, (red Bordeaux varietals along with Syrah and Petite Sirah) by Rod and Cathy Park, Rockpile Ranch is 100% sustainably farmed, and solar power is used for all farming operations and dwellings. Now, this beautiful mountaintop vineyard has 60 acres of planted vines producing Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Syrah & Cabernet Sauvignon of elegance & complexity made by Diane Wilson, Antoine Favero and Chris Barrett.

B Wise Vineyards

B Wise is very small production, just 20 acres of vines on their winery estate in Sonoma. They do private tastings by appointment at their wine caves, absolutely the most spectacular cave I've ever seen! The tasting room in Kenwood is open to the public. The wines are truly amazing and beautifully crafted. Amazing wines, small production.

Robert Haas was a prominent figure in the American wine industry for over fifty years. Starting in the 1950s as a buyer for his family's New York retailer, M. Lehman, Haas traveled through the cellars of France, building a formidable reputation as a wine taster and forming lasting relationships with top wine producers.

In the mid-1960s, Haas ventured out on his own to import fine estate wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Loire, Alsace, and the Rhône Valley. It was during this time that he met the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel and persuaded patriarch Jacques Perrin to appoint him as the exclusive American importer for the estate. Through his importing business, Vineyard Brands, Haas collaborated closely with Jacques' sons, Jean-Pierre and François Perrin, helping establish Beaucastel as a leading estate in the international wine community.

As Haas and the Perrins traveled across the United States for two decades to promote their French wines, they became close friends and came to believe that Rhône grape varieties, which thrived in the sunny south of France, would also flourish in California's Mediterranean climate. In 1985, the families began searching for suitable property.

Robert Haas was honored by the Paso Robles Wine Community as the 2007 Wine Industry Person of the Year and received a lifetime achievement award from the Rhone Rangers in 2014 for his contributions to the American Rhône movement. Haas passed away in March 2018, and his remarkable career was celebrated in publications such as Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The New York Times. His son, Jason, who has managed the estate since the mid-2000s, was recognized by his peers as the 2015 Paso Robles Wine Country Wine Industry Person of the Year and the 2017 San Luis Obispo County Wine Industry Person of the Year. In 2022, Jason was named a Food & Wine Drinks Innovator of the Year.

The Perrin family has also garnered numerous international accolades, including the prestigious 2018 Meininger Award for Wine Family of the Year. Additionally, Jean-Pierre and François Perrin were named Men of the Year by Decanter Magazine in 2014.
