Jack Creek Cellars

In 1997 began the pursuit of a dream; it started with 75 acres on Jack Creek Road in Templeton, CA. Before the first vine was planted Jack Creek Cellars made the commitment to farm the finest fruit possible, even if it meant a longer period of time before the vineyard became financially viable. The first priority with the fruit produced from the vineyard has always been excellence, believing strongly that without remarkable fruit you cannot make a world-class wine.

Renards Syrah

Bayard Fox has made his reputation as a true “Rhone Ranger” producing Syrah, Grenache, Viognier, Roussane and Rose from hand selected vineyard locations throughout California.

Los Pilares Wine

At Los Pilares it has to be local. For the folks at this winery that means 100% San Diego County grapes. It has to be the appropriate varieties. We want nature to choose the varieties, not marketing. Coleman, Jay, Michael and Pelin don’t look for Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay in San Diego’s provençal backcountry, rather for varieties like Grenache, Carignane, and Mourvedre. There’s not a lot of it growing here yet. Fortunately, the growers who have it tend to share Los Pilares Wine philosophy. The fruit has to be harvested at the right time — that means not overripe; we want to bring you fresh, bright, crisp flavors that show off the variety that San Diego can deliver (variety of the grapes, of the farms, of the vintage), not generic, thick, plummy, hot fruit.

Landmark Vineyards

Landmark offers a gorgeous but relaxed setting to sample their wines. It really is a beautiful winery. Gracious, welcoming, picturesque and some darn good wines. Now that is a combination that can't be beat!

Chalone Vineyard

While the grapes for Chalone Vineyard Estate come from their high mountain estate, the grapes for the Monterey County wines come from distinct vineyards in the 75-mile long Salinas Valley, which begins in Monterey Bay and runs southeastward. Ancient volcanoes, active faults and tectonic plate movement created the Santa Lucia and Gavilan Mountain ranges, which flank the valley. The mountains form a wind tunnel, drawing cool ocean breezes off the Pacific Ocean into the valley. The cool air causes the vines to shut down and delays ripening of the grapes, leading to a longer growing season and hang time that results in intense fruit flavors.

Myrtle Creek Vineyards

Myrtle Creek Vineyards is new winery that is just breaking into the San Diego wine industry. We hope to be open for on-line sales in early 2015 and have begun the process of establishing a tasting room at our Fallbrook location. We are a family run winery that specializes in small batches of hand crafted wines. At this time all our wines come from our Fallbrook vineyard or the other vineyards that we lease in the Fallbrook and Bonsall area. Varieties include Syrah, Grenache, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. We had our first small harvest in 2013 and hope to release some of those wines very soon!

Donkey and Goat

Donkey & Goat is a family owned and operated winery located in Berkeley California. Tracey & Jared Brandt craft their natural wines from Rhône varietals, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown in the Anderson Valley, Mendocino Ridge and the undiscovered El Dorado appellation in the Sierra Foothills.
