Curtis Winery

Why Rhônes? Because they are an alternative to the beaten path. Because they are delicious as well as different. And because they are so perfectly suited to the Santa Ynez Valley, the sun-drenched, fog-kissed place that Curtis Winery calls home.

Hill Top Winery

Hill Top Winery was created by a family in 2006, with a dream to turn their ranch into a destination that they could share with family and friends. Our mission is to plant, cultivate, and sustainably produce the highest quality grapes our terroir has to offer. With over 30 acres and 15 different varieties including reds and whites, we create varietals, blends and other libations to entice your palate.

Ampelos Cellars

Ampelos has been a family endeavor from the start.Initially “corporate folks”, we loved getting away to the Sta. Rita Hills on the weekends and dreamt of one day planting our own vineyard and making wines. A cancelled meeting in New York on the morning of September 11, 2001 helped us to realize that someday was today! Driven by a deep love and passion for the art of viticulture. We are truly a small boutique winery producing about 3500 cases a year. Our focus is viognier, rosé of syrah, pinot noir, syrah and grenache.

Milliaire Winery

The girl that poured for us was the single most welcoming and knowledgeable tasting room employee we dealt with that day. She was interested in what we were looking for but gently encouraged us to try some other wines they had available without being pushy. Most of all when you walk out of the winery you come away with such a great experience.

Ursa Vineyards

Ursa Vineyards is a collaborative effort between the husband and wife team - Greg Stokes and Deborah Elissagaray. Greg has 25 years experience with vineyards and wine making, Deborah 18 years in wine making. Both were part of the wine making team at David Bruce for years. This small foothill winery produces no more than 2500 cases annually, allowing exceptional attention to be paid in both the vineyard and the cellar. All fruit is fermented in small fermenters and worked by hand. A minimal amount of handling ensures the preservation of the fruit character of the varietal being made. Ursa Vineyards focus is petite sirah from various vineyards in California, but they also produce merlot, syrah and a unique varietal from the Pyrenees, tannat. Open Saturday & Sunday, 11am - 5pm

Rideau Vineyards

Rideau Vineyard was founded in 1997 by New Orleans native, Iris Rideau. Early on in the winery’s inception, Iris Rideau decided to dedicate her estate vineyard entirely to Rhône varietals. She felt that Rhône wines were not only ideally suited to the Santa Ynez Valley AVA, but also instinctively felt that they were best suited to the Creole cuisine of her childhood.

Ticket Cellars

A San Francisco based winery making unique artisan wines from some of the best vineyards across California, including: Front Row Zinfandel, Golden Ticket Viognier, Suite Three Syrah, Standing Ovation Sangiovese and Invtiation Only Pinot Noir. A Cabernet Sauvignon and another release of Front Row Zinfandel are coming soon.

Turnbull Wine Cellars

his is the perfect small-scale vineyard with just the right amount of unique character that makes wine tasting so charming and fun. Art, history, and vino. This is a triple threat of a vineyard. The tasting room is very simple but certainly warm and welcoming with lovely artwork on the walls and big french doors opening onto the winery with rows of grapes as far as you can see. The moment you pull in, you face a huge, regal barn and immediately feel welcomed by the beautiful grounds.

Rob and Amanda led our tasting and both were very friendly and down to earth. Rob was very generous with his pours, giving a taste of the Cabernet Franc to both of us at the mere mention of the wine - the Cab Franc was a wine on the reserve tasting list, which was not the list we were tasting from.
