Lovemore Vineyards

We just love it at CaCorks when we connect with another great boutique winery that produces some special wines such as Lovemore Vineyards. Winemaker Russ Langord, along with his wife Sharon founded Lovemore Vineyards in 2014 based on the idea that life, good wine and love are all the best when shared. We just became acquainted with the great Pinot Nori and Sauvignon Blanc that Russ and Sharon produce. These award-winning wines produced by Lovemore Vineyards are delightful and Russ and Sharon donate $2.00 for each bottle to local charities (Pets Lifeline Animal Shelter). Be sure to make an appointment for your next visit to Lovemre Vineyards located in Sonoma .*

Loxton Cellars

The property is small and nothing fancy but more likely than not, your wine tasting will be led by the vintner himself, who came to Sonoma with nothing and built this small winery with his own hands. He's a great host who truly understands and loves wine. It's a delightful experience and the wine is priced very reasonably compared to many other wineries in the area.

Maboroshi Wine Estates

The winery's portfolio includes the Maboroshi Estate Pinot Noir, Spring Mountain York Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and a Los Carneros Chardonnay. Some Pinot Noir grapes are sold to DeLoach for a vineyard-designate bottling. The Maboroshi wines are sold on the website.

MacLeod Family Vineyard

After spending a fair amount of time among the vines with George, we arrived at a massive oak tree overlooking the valley. There, was a lone picnic table with all sorts of wine, cheeses, chocolates and other yummy foods laid upon it. So, besides getting a private tour of a vineyard, up close and personal, the MacLeods take it one step further and do food pairings with their wines.

MacMurray Ranch

MacMurray Ranch was outstanding. We took a scenic drive through the valley to reach MacMurray Ranch. We had a wonderful time at this secluded and intimate ranch. We learned the history of the location along with MacMurray's and photos from the past. We tasted wines and toured the place in equal segments of time so we didn't get overwhelmed with different wines all at once. Our tour was strictly wine tasting only.

MacPhail Family Wines

MacPhail Pinot noir was founded in 2002 with the sole passion to handcraft Pinot noir from premier Sonoma and Mendocino County appellations. Since that time, MacPhail Family Wines has expanded from 150 cases a year to just under 5000 cases and now includes two new AVAs: Oregon and Santa Barbara.

Macrae Family Winery

David Macrae founded this winery to develop limited production wines that reflect the top growers including Bacigaluipi Vineyards in the Russian River Valley and Stagecoach Vineyards in Napa Valley.

The winemaker is Kerry Damskey, a University of California at Davis graduate. The wines are sold on the website and available for tasting through the Family Wineries Tasting Room in Kenwood.
