Plan on spending 1.5 hours on a tasting...don't rush, just relax and you will have a great time.

Ranchita Canyon Vineyard

Bill and Teresa Hinrichs were looking for a place to retire and raise their twins, when they found Ranchita Canyon Vineyard. The property fit their criteria with hills, trees, ravines, and "character," plus some outstanding views from the hillside location. The Hinrichs' dove in head first, and have developed the property into a premium wine grape vineyard, with a new boutique winery focusing on small lot Estate Wines.

Reverie Vineyards

Reverie Winery, located near Calistoga, California, is one of Napa Valley’s smallest estate wineries. The vineyard is nestled on a steep, 40 acre parcel high up in the Diamond Mountain appellation. It was once part of the Bonsell Property that is now divided into three vineyards – Reverie, Diamond Creek, and Von Strasser.
Norman Kiken, a New Jersey guy, is the owner and winemaker. He purchased the property in 1993 and specializes in producing ultra-premium Bordeaux style varietal blends that reflect the uniqueness of the terroir. 5 star family winery, old-fashioned style. You feel their passion for the
wine. The property is magnificent; you must walk around. The tour
is informative, interesting and fun. I've done it a couple of times, and
I look forward to a repeat. Their cab franc is sooo good.

San Marcos Creek Vineyard

This winery feels like home. Gracing the driveway is a pond overlooking the beautiful vineyards; you would not know you were close to the highway when you are here. Entering the winery there is a pretty vast selection of tastings on the menu. We did not taste one that we did not like and it made deciding on just a few bottles so hard! This tasting room was beautiful and I truly could have stayed all day here .. and night ! There is a Crush Pad on site! A lovely little cottage sits a top the hill on the vineyard and has four rooms for guests!

Wise Villa Winery

The owner spent a lot of time on us explaining his wines and the winery's history. To be fair, there were not very many other customers. Still, he kept us entertained and conversed with us for well over an hour. We felt very welcome.Love how they work with their grapes. You know! if they promise me a bottle of the Sangiovese that I barrel-tasted today, I would probably give them another star.

Dalla Valle Vineyards

In 1983, Gustav and Naoko Dalla Valle began planting vines on the hillside east of Oakville, overlooking Napa Valley. Their vineyards produce excellent quality grapes, resulting wines of great intensity, complexity and balance. Gustav passed away in 1995 and Naoko Dalla Valle continues the legacy of Dalla Valle wines.
Dalla Valle Vineyards produces two wines; Maya- Proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Dalla Valle Vineyards wines are on a waiting list.

Kapcsandy Family Winery

Sorry people, this place is private.

As it should be. The Kapcsandy's have effortlessly created some of the greatest wine my lips and palate have ever tasted. After taking a tour of the spotless grounds which used to be Beringer Estates, we adjourned ourselves to the tasting room where I, along with close friends and cohorts divided our time among the vast amount of premier wines the Kapcsandy Family Winery has to offer. The Kapcsandy Family Winery is well on its way to make its permanent mark on the wine world. Using the best resources, well thought out methods, and grade "A" ingredients make these wines a challenger to all who dare to face them. They are truly a winery who reside at the top of their game.

Joullian Vineyards

This tasting room came highly recommended based on the merits of their wine. We (5) savored customized flights depending on what we each wanted to try, which Hal then poured in the correct order while he enthusiastically told us all about Joullian. While our group's style preferences vary, everyone was impressed with the wines and our tasting room experience.

Paoletti Vineyards

The vineyard is quite incredible and impressive. We tasted 9 different wines in their cave which was filled with millions of dollars worth of marble statues.
The cave was nice and cool and the aroma of the wines in the barrels hit you as soon as you entered. There was Italian music being pumped into the cave which helped set the mood for the tasting.
Afterwards we wandered around their property and enjoyed quite the view from their patio area.

Peter Franus Wine Co.

More than 30 years of winemaking experience, decisions based on intuition and feelings, a great respect for tradition, and access to some of the best grape sources in Napa Valley.
Distinctive wines come from outstanding grapes that are limited to certain unique sites and microclimates. Grapes from these sources do not require a lot of manipulation and have the greatest potential to produce exciting and memorable wines. Peter Franus has the good fortune to work with some of the best growers anywhere whose goal is to provide him with the highest quality fruit possible. Doug Hill’s and Jim Fore’s Stewart Vineyard in Carneros is my source for Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. Truchard Vineyards, also in Carneros, provides me with Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel from Rancho Chimiles, and Brandlin Vineyard on Mount Veeder is a single vineyard for old-vine Zinfandel.
A very small operation, and nearly all of their artisan wines have a case level production of fewer than 1000 cases.
