Today, Michael channels his enduring passion into crafting exceptional hand-made Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc wines.

Hawley Wine

wine barrles stacked and racked

The staff here was not your typical in-your-face, super-upseller, super high energy and friendly type of pourer-- but she was very helpful, sweet and laid back which was kind of nice for a change. The room itself is worth the stop! All the hand carved wood--surrounding the barrel-made bar in the middle of the room, the tasting bar, and the walls is beautiful. The wood gives this place a super relaxing, comfortable cozy wine tasting environment.

McConnell Estate Winery

The family story is about two families – one named McConnell and the other Wackman – that found their way to Elk Grove, California. The 5th generation from these founding families planted winegrapes in 1993 and began making wine on this historic property in 2002 for you to enjoy.

Meander Wines

Meander is the personal project of winemaker Amy Aiken, who has been crafting wines in Napa Valley since 1989. Starting in 2000, her exclusive focus has been limited production, ultra-premium Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Established 2003 Cases/year: 400 Winemaker: Amy Aiken

Athair Wine

Athair means “father” in Irish Gaelic. The label is a collaboration between Tom Keith and his son-in-law, Jim McMahon. McMahon learned his winemaking at Kenwood Winery in Sonoma Valley, and subsequently at Luna Vineyards in Napa Valley where he is currently the assistant winemaker. Jim McMahon crafts the wines in memory of the fathers in his life. Very nice example of Russian River Pinot Noir - not too light, not too big, just right. The wines are sold on the website with some retail distribution.

Montevina Winery

This is a fun place to try some of the Terra d'Oro and Montevina wines you normally wouldn't find elsewhere to purchase. For everyday drinking, I'm a fan of these wines. These folks produce a lot of wines and it is a bit hard to do everyone right when you produce so many. However, you will find a few gems and it is a lovely winery to visit.

Giessinger Winery

Girard's goal is to highlight the flavors of Napa Valley and its rich, ripe grapes. A small portion of the winery's portfolio also comes from grapes grown in Sonoma's upscale Russian River Valley, where cool weather offers ideal conditions for Chardonnay.
