Dunah Vineyard & Winery

Rick and Diane DuNah established DuNah in 2000 producing primarily Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from an estate vineyard located in the Russian River Valley near Sebastopol and other premium vineyard sources. Greg La Follette is the winemaker. The wines are sold through a mailing list and the winery online store.

Dutcher Crossing Winery

Proprietor Debra Mathy can often be found welcoming guests with Dutchess, her Golden Lab winery dog, sidekick and official greeter. And winemaker Kerry Damskey’s small-lot, select vineyard approach to winemaking can be learned and enjoyed in the tasting room.

Dutton Estate Winery

This is the place to go if you want some good valued Chardonnay, Syrah and Pinot. I really liked their $20 per couple cheese and wine pairing. The people were very friendly and laid back which really fit this wonderful boutique cozy winery.

Dutton-Goldfield

Let's begin with what everyone goes to Healdsburg/Sebastopol for: the pinots. Dutton-Goldfield had four or five pinots when we tasted there, and they were all unique and delicious. They varied from the lighter, fruit-forward classic pinots to the richer, almost-cab pinots. All of them were good, but I particularly liked the Devil's Gulch, which was on the richer side of the spectrum.

Duxoup Wine Works

Pronounced "Duck Soup". This winery offers very limited quantities of unique varietals with a total production of only 1500 cases per year. Duxoup was founded in 1981 by two inquisitive winemakers and free-spirited: Deborah and Andrew Cutter. They built the winery with small production, gentle, gravity flow winemaking in mind. Duxoup wines are silky, fruity, and come from venerable vineyards. The wines express not only terrior, but the highly skilled work of the two owners, both experienced and respected for their independence and consistent quality. The wines are rare, but you may also agree that it is worth the effort to find them.

Elliott Family Cellars

Theodore R Elliott is the man behind Elliott Family Cellars, a very small producer of Pinot Noir in Santa Rosa. He has many years of experience as a grape grower and winemaker with Sonoma Cutrer. His wines are perfect examples of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Wines are available online on the website. ~

Emeritus Vineyards

This may be the best Pinot Noir you've tasted! It's wonderful to drink alone or with food. I particularly like fish but I still drink Emeritus Pinot Noir with fish dishes and it's wonderful. It's not available in retail stores, just in restaurants and directly from the winery.

Enkidu Wines

Don't miss Enkidu amongst the cluster of newer tasting rooms in Kenwood.
The staff is always friendly and always willing to open anything you may want to try, Don't miss the 07 Humbaba, 08 Sangiovese and the Tin Barn Chardonnay.
