Hughes Family Vineyards

Keith and Cherie Hughes pursued a shared vision in 2001 with the purchase of two organic vineyards in Glen Ellen, California. Initially, their intention was to grow exceptional fruit, a goal that evolved into making superb wines that reflect the unique terroir of their land. Hughes Family Vineyards is a boutique winery producing premium Zinfandel, Syrah, Rose' and Chardonnay wines made exclusively from the grapes grown in our certified organic vineyards in Glen Ellen, California.

Hunter Chasseur Wine Cellars

After graduating from the University of California at Davis in 1987, Bill Hunter spent time working at Rombauer Winery in St. Helena and Bonny Doon Winery in Santa Cruz. In 1989 he began making wine for Chauffe-Eau Cellars in Geyserville. After getting some experience, he wanted to be able to express his own style. So in 1994, he began making his own wine on the side. He made two barrels of Dutton Chardonnay from the original shop block and a barrel of Carneros Pinot Noir. Unfortunately, someone had already registered the brand 'Hunter', so he opted to use the brand name 'Chasseur', French for Hunter.

Huntington Wine Cellars

Imagery Estate Winery

They have a beautiful scenic panoramic view. The staff are very personable, knowledgeable, and always willing to be of help. The outdoor patio is perfect for these summer months. They even have horse shoes!!! Nice selection of some pretty nice wines.

Inman Family Wines

Kathleen has a couple of really nice young guys working the tasting room and it looked like the winery's reputation is growing as they had been busy. This vineyard is in Santa Rosa, and Kathleen is producing some amazing wines. While she has been producing at this organic vineyard for 10 years, this seems to be her break out year, because her work is finally be recognized.

Inspiration Vineyards & Winery

Overall pretty delectable wines. Their barrel Syrah was amazing...I'm stoked to see how that one turns out. The sommeliers were all friendly and totally knew their stuff. I'd love to go back and check out their Syrah when it's released. Jon will patiently take you through the symphony of his wines - and if you're lucky, perhaps a barrel sample or 2 - and the process by which he follows.

Iron Horse Vineyards

ron Horse is a great winery to visit on your tour of Sonoma. The winery is off the beaten path but the views are gorgeous on a clear day. You can do your tasting outside and take in the gorgeous views of the vineyard. If you want to sit down and enjoy a picnic you can find a gazebo on the opposite end of the facility. They have an amazing variety of sparkling wine (more than I have seen anywhere else I've been) and also some non-sparkling varieties as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive in spite of the fact that they were pretty crowded. After our tasting, we were able to take food we brought to their picnic pavilion to enjoy a snack before we left. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
