Jocelyn & Lonen Wines

Cultivating Jocelyn Lonen Winery has been a complete labor of love for its founding family. A passion for fine wine and a high-regard for the Napa Valley drew Lonen Curtis to the wine business in the mid-1990’s. After retiring from the high-tech industry, Lonen embarked on the single-minded, serious pursuit of making world-class wine. He planted his first vineyard and began to develop the Jocelyn Lonen Winery in 1996. Lonen and his wife Susan along with his daughter Brandi Jocelyn Pack and her husband and children moved to the Napa Valley the following year.

Joel Gott Wines

Joel Gott was born to make wine. His grandfather was winemaker and president of Inglenook in the 1960s and 1970s while his father, Cary Gott, is the founder of Montevina and continues to consult for wineries such as D.R. Stephens.
In addition to Joel's uncanny blending ability, he has privileged access to many of the best and as yet undiscovered fruit sources in the Napa Valley. Joel Gott wines are therefore remarkable values, offering gobs of classic California fruit, good structure and excellent balance.

Of course, Joel is also the proud proprietor of Gott's Roadside, Napa Valley's red hot retro-chic "hamburger joint" on Highway 29, and most recently, in San Francisco as well. Robert Parker once proclaimed a meal at Taylor's one of the finest meals of the year in the Wine Advocate!

John Alan Winery

From our state of the art vineyard, we proudly offer Rhone and Bordeaux varietals and blends. Featuring Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot, Petite Sirah and Syrah. Viognier, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir sourced from select local vineyards round out our wine portfolio.

John Anthony Vineyards

Quiet, nice little place by our hotel (Andaz Napa). Good place to go for a quick bite and maybe a little wine, nice since it's open late and convenient. Nice ambiance. Wine is spectacular. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Definitely check this place out if you are wondering around downtown Napa.

John Christopher Cellars

John Christopher Cellars is a family owned boutique winery located in the Livermore Valley producing around 1500 cases of heart and hand crafted wine each year. We offer both red and white wines, with our main focus on Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah and Syrah. Most of Tom's current focus is on red wine, through Chardonnay is also one of his favorites. Both Chard's are from Livermore Valley grapes and are a favorite among Chardonnay lovers who value lively fruit and a rich buttery finish.

Jones Family Vineyards

Jones Family Vineyards was established in 1996 as a family run winery with the singular focus to produce the finest cabernet based wines from our special vineyards. Jones Family location on a south facing hillside between St. Helena and Calistoga in the Northern Napa Valley provides the ideal combination of soil and climate for the development of Cabernet Sauvignon. Vineyard manager David Abreu, and winemakers Heidi Barrett and Thomas Rivers Brown have worked to maximize the potential of our unique location to produce two outstanding wines, the Jones Family Vineyards Cabernet, and a cabernet blend wine.

Jordan Estate Winery

The wines speak for themselves... The grounds, ambiance and staff are first class! Jordan only makes chardonnay, very French....not oaky or buttery like most California chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both are quite good. They have also started pressing their own olive oil.

Joseph Phelps Vineyards

Joseph Phelps is a premier Napa tasting room while keeping it relatively casual. You still need an appointment to get in, but after that, you're not kept on a schedule or rushed by any means.Phelps has a great variety of reds, of which the Insignia is the best you can taste at the winery, which goes for about $200-250 depending on the vintage. (They also have a red called Backus that is not available for tasting.) The Insignia is some of the best reds I've ever had. I also really enjoyed their Syrah and Pinot Noirs.

Joullian Vineyards

This tasting room came highly recommended based on the merits of their wine. We (5) savored customized flights depending on what we each wanted to try, which Hal then poured in the correct order while he enthusiastically told us all about Joullian. While our group's style preferences vary, everyone was impressed with the wines and our tasting room experience.
