Sonoma

David Bynum Winery

I had a fantastic experience here. Went during the off season, which helps, as there was no traffic whatsoever. Staff was very helpful, talkative, and positive. Some seriously good Pinot Noirs, as to be expected.

Super Sonoman Wine

The diverse geology of Sonoma County and its topography have made it the ideal location to make world class wine for years but the grapes that are most often associated with the region have been Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Zinfandel to name a few. Super Sonoman Wine brings you another choice.

Moondance Cellars

Great winery conveniently located next to a chocolate shop. Moondance offers wine and port tasting for $5 apiece. In addition to wine, they also have mustard, olive oil, and balsamic samples for you to try. They are in a mutually beneficial relationship with their chocolate selling neighbors. They offer chocolate samples as a pairing with their wines.

Pucioni Vineyards

Produce limited amounts of hand-crafted wines from the Dry Creek Valley and the Puccioni Ranch. Pucioni Vineyards has been growing grapes and making wine at the Puccioni Ranch since 1904. Pucioni family were one of the last families in Sonoma County to use a mule and a plow.

Stephen & Walker

This tasting room is definitely worth stopping in. Nancy Walker produces fabulous Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon. I've been here several times and I cant wait to come back and purchase more of these delicious small production wines! The hosts are friendly and the wines sell themselves.

Jacuzzi Family Vineyards

acuzzi is a unique place for sure. Yes, there are a lot of wineries that combine both vino and olive oil, but I think Jacuzzi "owns it" as good as anyone. They've got a huge facility with a very generous, separate area devoted completely to the olive oil, so you've really got two completely different tasting experiences in one stop. Both the wine and the olive oil tastings are free; another pleasant surprise since even Sonoma county is running low on the complimentary tastings.

VJB Vineyard & Cellars

Great job by the owners creating a feeling of Tuscany! Beautiful place... locals call this a "one stop shopping" tasting experience! Wood fired pizzas, a KILLER gelateria, Italian varietals in the tasting room; a deli with various panini and cheeses, salads, etc...a must stop when touring the Kenwood area!

Paint Horse Winery

The Greens have been into paint horses for nearly three decades and the winery is their homage to these wonderful and truly beautiful animals. According to Bruce Green, the couple rides their horses on every occasion, both in western pleasure and also trail riding. Paint Horse Winery became a reality in 1997, when the Greens first purchased the property. Some vineyards were already planted, but needed a great deal of work. The Greens improved the existing vineyards and planted two more acres, mostly to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Anakota Wines

Sourced exclusively from Estate-owned Knights Valley vineyards, Anakota is a collection of single vineyard, single varietal Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wines that exemplify the rustic elegance and spirit of Sonoma County’s Mount St. Helena. Situated in the flanks and foothills of Mount St. Helena, each mountain vineyard is brought to life as stressed vines struggle with rocky soils and challenging climatic conditions to create small, intensely flavored berries.

Jordan Estate Winery

The wines speak for themselves... The grounds, ambiance and staff are first class! Jordan only makes chardonnay, very French....not oaky or buttery like most California chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both are quite good. They have also started pressing their own olive oil.
