Route 128 Winery

Really nice people! I've been here a few times, and I have to say that the owners are great. They are often behind the bar and will take their time to talk to you about the winery, the vineyards, and the process that goes into their wine. It really makes you feel like you get to know the history behind what you are drinking.

Talty Vineyards

Talty Winery and Vineyard are nestled in Sonoma County's glorious Dry Creek Valley. This "little slice of heaven" is six acres of forty-eight-year-old Zinfandel Vines, dry-farmed and head-pruned to produce the most intense tasting fruit and concentrated flavors.

Philip Staley Vineyards & Winery

Philip Staley Vineyards & Winery is a small, family-owned grower/producer of fine wines. Located in the Alexander Valley near Healdsburg, California, amidst some of the most beautiful country on earth. But if you are touring the wine country Sonoma, you won't know where are vineyards or winery are.. And that's a pity, because it is small wineries that are producing some of California's finest wines such as Philip Staley Vineyards & Winery.

Pellegrini Family Vineyards

The Pellegrini Family traces its heritage in winemaking to the early 1900s when brothers Nello and Gino Pellegrini arrived in New York City from their native Tuscany. They soon made their way to the West Coast and in 1925 became Sonoma County grape merchants, shipping grapes throughout the U.S. for home winemaking.

Francis Coppola Winery

What a beautiful estate! This was my first time to Francis Ford Coppola and I was in awe! I don't even know where to start, but the grounds are beautiful, the tasting room was fun, the memorabilia was nostalgic, and the cellar was amazing as well! All of the staff was ever so friendly, welcoming and helpful. You wouldn't expect anything short of greatness, when you learn that Mr. Coppola is heavily involved in the operations of the winery and visits periodically to ensure that everything meets his standards.

Bluenose Wines

Boutique winery in Sonoma County specializing in Zinfandel and Syrah. 900 case production. Bluenose Wines was launched by Paul Brasset, who has been a winemaker in Sonoma County since 1980. Wines offered include Sonoma County Zinfandels and Chardonnay from vineyards in the Deer Creek Valley. Brasset's 2006 Zinfandel was awarded the 2006 Gold Medal (Critics Challenge), which was described by Brasset as, "...a fruit forward style, rich and full bodied with some plummy fruit and vanilla."

Grebinnikoff Vineyards

Grebennikoff Vineyards is a small and limited production winery specializing in 100 percent varietal estate grown Merlot. Although Grebennikoff Vineyards is a relatively new winery in the Sonoma Valley, viticulturist/winemaker Nick Greben planted his small estate vineyard in 1974. The name Grebennikoff is Russian and came from Nick's father who emigrated here from China early in the last century.

Moondance Cellars

Great winery conveniently located next to a chocolate shop. Moondance offers wine and port tasting for $5 apiece. In addition to wine, they also have mustard, olive oil, and balsamic samples for you to try. They are in a mutually beneficial relationship with their chocolate selling neighbors. They offer chocolate samples as a pairing with their wines.

Peterson Winery

Tasting room location is in the same parking lot as 10 other wineries tasting rooms - right off Dry Creek Road. Stop at this ONE location and you will be able to taste wines from Amphora, Collier Falls, Dashe, Forth, Philip Staley, Peterson, Lago di Merlo, Kokomo, Mietz and Papapietro. We went in for wine tasting- which was complimentary. Melissa, who helped us out, was so nice! Friendly and enlightened us on the wine. Some nice wines.
