Hobo Wine Company

Kenny Likitprakong explains the name Hobo Wine Company; "Instead of becoming a hobo, I became a “Hobo Winemaker.” Of the two ways to make wine, with and without money, the first should probably be the only, but a few of us slip through the cracks and do it on the skinny. No winery, no vineyards, no truck, no warehouse, no employees…nothing. There are advantages. Making small lots comes naturally, the flexability to pick and choose grape type, vineyard, appellation, and winery on an ongoing basis, and a larger circle of people involved which means more ideas and expertise."

Fritz Winery

Built into the side of a picturesque hill atop the famed Dry Creek Valley, the Fritz Winery creates award-winning, small production wines with a respect for the vineyards, and the traditions of artisan, hand-crafted wine making. Jay Fritz's vision for a winery grounded in responsible stewardship is what has allowed the quality of the natural bounty of our 120+ Estate to thrive over the past thirty years.

Eric Ross Winery

A foodie at heart, Eric likens the wines to a beautiful meal: "If you start out with really good fresh ingredients, I mean really good, you have the fundamental components for something extraordinary." Taking advantage of this premium growing region, and by hand-crafting each vintage, Eric Ross Winery takes that same approach when producing our wines. " Taste The Vineyard" that's what the wine should reflect.

Donum Estates' guided wine tasting options offer an immersive experience that blends wine, land, and art. Guests explore some of California's finest award-winning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay while enjoying the natural beauty of the terroir and the global art collection throughout the Estate.

Each tasting is carefully curated with thoughtfully sourced materials, including hand-blown glassware, ceramic plates crafted from Estate clay, and canapés made with produce from the culinary garden and olive oil from the olive grove.

Visitors are invited to experience the Donum Estate's signature Carneros property, situated between Napa and Sonoma Counties. This 60-minute experience begins with a splash of one of Donum's award-winning wines, followed by a tasting of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the certified organic Carneros Estate Vineyard. The tasting is complemented by a guided walking tour of the Estate.

GiaDomella is the fulfillment of Richard, Victoria, and Joseph Passalacqua’s desire to create and produce premium wines. Consistent with the family’s long standing history associated with winemaking, fruit for these wines are sourced directly from the E Passalacqua Family Estate Vineyard which has been in the family since the late 1890’s.

Forth Vineyards

We found them in the Sonoma Wineries listing and saw that tasting was by appointment only..we didn't know that it was out of date and that there was an official tasting room...anyway, we made the appt and got lost trying to get there. We happened to see a man doing some work in a barn/garage and asked his help to find the winery. He told us we found it. Turns out the winery was in the barn, he was the winemaker, and the tasting was done on the porch. Talk about a beautiful setting to taste wine. The hills, the vineyards, the babydoll sheep...yes, sheep. Forth uses babydoll sheep instead of herbicides. Very environmentally friendly.

Deerfield Ranch Winery

Deerfield is a winery where you're encouraged to sit and enjoy your wine. You're not crowded around a tasting bar, fighting for space and attention in order to sip your wine. Instead, the tasting takes place in a cave, with tables and chairs everywhere - encouraging everyone to have a seat, enjoy their wine and the sommeliers will be around to pour the wine.

Coturri Winery

When in wine country, some enjoy a Disneyland experience -- fake castles & dungeons, tram rides, huge gift shops, docents, buses, limos, and a million things to distract you from the wine. And then, there's Coturri. The production is tiny. The facility is a garage. Check out the Syrah, Zin, or anything that they might happen to have on hand to share...and you'll get a great bottle of hand-made wine with little intervention of any sort.

Del Carlo Winery

Fourth generation wine grower Ray Teldeschi and his wife Lori, have some of the oldest zinfandel vines in Dry Creek Valley. In 2005 they released their first vintage of old vine Zin and Cabernet and they’ve been winning blind tastings ever since.
