Cook Family Winery

Imagine visiting for a brief time among the vines that create some of the most lauded California wines. You'll enjoy a lovely setting, and a private glimpse into the behind the scenes work of a small and thriving winery.

Rarely does one get to enjoy a taste of wine from the barrel any more. The sterile but lovely environments of the large wineries are necessary because of their size and popularity.

Cook Family Winery takes you back in time with us to a period when the winemaker was accessible and the
wine could be enjoyed at each step in the process.

Milagro Winery

Just 50 minutes east of San Diego, our beautiful property boasts a working estate-grown winery, organic farm and orchard, tasting room with scenic vistas and leisure activities, and more. We look forward to welcoming you at Milagro.

Willow Creek Wine Co.

In 2017 Brain and Natalie Brown moved to Paso Robles and Sona Estate on Vineyard Drive in the Willow Creek District was born. In addition to growing their own fruit the couple have spent years fostering with other wine grape growers as far south down the Central Coast as Santa Barbara, to as far north as Sacramento Delta and Napa Valley. The wines produced are clean, site driven wines with minimal intervention in the cellar. This couple sees eye-to-eye on style and technical details but ultimately the loyalty to a promise never to bottle a wine that both would not drink. Willow Creek Wine Collective is an appropriate name as Brian and Natalie produce wine under multiple brands and have brought them all together under one roof.

Due to possible restrictions during the Pandemic please contact the Willow Creek to make reservations so that you can enjoy their wine selections.

Georis Winery

Lovely wine tasting experience. We knew nothing about Georis but had it on our list of possible stops on a recent visit to the Carmel Valley. Sometimes the best experiences are surprises.
We shared a flight of five red wines which were served with a small plate of cheese and freshly baked bread from the Corkscrew Cafe. $20 seemed very reasonable for what was served.

We lingered over our wine for probably 40 minutes or so as we sat in the garden which is in front of the adobe (circa 1930) which serves as the tasting room. The charming garden had a European feel with an eclectic mix of seating areas. Colorful tablecloths and brightly painted metal chairs added to the ambiance.

The place mat and a small printed menu gave brief descriptions of the wine. We could drink at our own pace and didn't miss having a server rushing us on to the next pour.

Georis is a "keeper" on our list of Carmel Valley tasting rooms. We'll be back.

Circle B Wines

Painting by Agata Zaborowski

Clara and Steve Baker's story of becoming winemakers starts with retiring from lifelong careers in construction management and police work. Yearning to leave busy Southern California behind, they targeted Paso Robles where they could slow down and enjoy each other’s company. In 2012 they moved into a gorgeous home on a 5-acre blank slate, perfect for a peaceful vineyard with stunning views.

The first half acre of 600 head-trained Grenache vines was planted in June of 2012 and they were off! With 3 1/2 acres still untouched, in 2014 Tempranillo, Grenache, Carignane, and Tannat vines were planted to complete the vision.

Clara and Steve thought they would sell the majority of the grapes, make a little wine, and enjoy the country lifestyle. Wow! Were they wrong. This husband and wife team quickly discovered they retired to work harder as farmers! Maintaining four acres with 3,900 vines on them is a full-time job that requires patience, stamina, science, and instinct.

Fore Family Vineyards

Small, family owned winery with vineyards in Napa and Cobb Mountain, Lake County. Being primarily farmers, we are able to make our wines entirely from our own vineyards. The small percentage of grapes that we keep for our own label, totals to around 1000 cases annually. We are proud of our quality wines, and Lake County fruit!
