Miramont Estate Vineyards

Our family established Miramont Estate Vineyards. Nestled in the Sierra foothills, our vineyard and boutique winery are located in the Lodi appellation in California. Our Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay grapes thrive in the Mediterranean climate where they are bathed in golden sunlight, caressed nightly by cool Pacific breezes, and then harvested under starlight to protect their luscious flavor at its peak.

Leonardo Family Vineyards

Cal-Italia Wines
The history of winemaking by Italian Americans in California goes back to the late 1800’s, beginning in earnest by the late 1880's. That was when a wave of immigrants from Tuscany and the Piedmont began arriving in Northern California. Some had a winemaking background and some did not. And while some cultivated those grape they were familiar with in their homeland, most opted to follow the conventions of the day in the selection of which grape varieties to propagate.

Silkwood Wines

Silkwood Wines began life in 1979 with a Chardonnay produced at Spring Mountain Winery in St. Helena. This Chardonnay won great reviews and was served frequently in the Reagan White House. President Reagan, Ed Meiss, Michael Dever and George Bush also served it and transported it aboard Air Force One to French, Canadian, and Mexico Summits.

Cardella Winery

Nathan Cardella, 4th generation, after graduating from the Enology and viticulture program at Fresno State in 204, founded Cardella Winery with his father Rod. The rest of the grapes were sold to winemakers across the country. It was well-known amongst Lance’s family and friends that he had a knack for making well-balanced, elegant wines but was not interested in selling it to the masses.
